the broadsides don't have an option for shield generators (invulnerable save) they have 2+ save normally with a 4+FNP for mortals only. grenades only be used if they are eligible to shoot. if you have shot with said you unit, they become no longer eligible to shoot not allowing you to use grenades. and yer you can use grenades first then shoot.
You asked about the grenade strategm at @ 1:29:04. A unit that has not shot in the shooting phase can throw grenades. So they have to use the grenade strategem before they shoot. But they can shoot afterwards. The strategm doesn't say they can't fire their normal weapons, just that a unit that hasn't fired it's normal weapons can throw grenades. So you use the strategm first, then fire their guns.
I'm pretty sure about that cadre fireblade also increases the attacks of DSB turrets and gun drones on the unit. Also, I don't think it is wise to charge heavy intercessors with fire teams. You need to get yourself some kroot or at least some breachers. Finally I suggest a rule for kingslayer games: warlords have to be in the battlefield all the time. I think it's not fine to hold them safe in reserves

A question about Drones: apart from the Gun Drone units, are Tau Drones actual models? Because it seems to me that they are like a counter to remember abilities rather than real models. But in case of ranged fire or incoming charges, do we treat Drone models as real ones?
It blows my mind the GW has the nerve to say hammerfall bunkers deploy like drop pods, but don't give the bunker any deep strike. Such a waste of points Sadly, might just get a whirlwind instead.
don't forget your strike teams can have 2 drones, so add in some gun drones. Also why marker drones on your crisis, take full shield drones, your strike teams can act as observers, all crisis teams and tanks should be guided units to get the most out of their firepower

Grenades is actually if you haven't shot yet, you don't need to be eligible to shoot. (You still need to not be in engagement range)

50:28 cannot overwatch deep strike anymore. I believe they changed this to not count as movement except for the models themselves “counting as moved”

Drones are purely cosmetic now, they don't count for measurements

Your Tau army performs much better without the Stormsurge. If you want to run the Stormsurge, keep ShadowSun near by.

Ditch the bunker. Reduce the number of intercessors. Instead put in either a land Raider, aggressors or maybe a squad of terminators.
