    Andy I thank you so much for the cli dump.. Thumbs up from us who don't have a finesse and your expertise with tuning in Betaflight.
    I flew this, the Geprc Phantom and the original Tinyhawk as well as the new Tinyhawk S and I must say I had loads of fun doing crazy aerobatic maneuvers with the two cell freestyle but running through the trees as a slalom course and around obstacles the original Tinyhawk with the Mockingbird tune just took the lead in every way except flight times.. the Geprc Phantom with 650 2s flew for over 11 minutes in mixed flying and was the quietest of all four.

    • @Largetalons
      @Largetalons 5 лет назад +1

      You should give the phantom another try with a 450 2s or 300mah 3s. It's really setting a handicap to run that big of a 2s in it against the two tinyhawks.

    • @Billbobaker
      @Billbobaker 5 лет назад

      @@Largetalons True and I will try it with the smaller battery packs..
      I run 550 and 520's on my Tinyhawk original and the s version and they are still nimble.

    • @Billbobaker

      @@Largetalons Drone Camps recommends a 3s 450 and that is quite a bit heavier than the 2s 650 and 550's and loves the performance.

    • @Largetalons
      @Largetalons 5 лет назад

      Well the manufacturer recommends 300mah 3s for the phantom and with an 11 minute reported flight I would wager that performance is being traded off for flight times with that setup.

    Good review Andy! Emax are smashing it at the moment. I've got the tinyhawk v1 & v2. I'm definitely going to be getting this little beast for a bit of playground fun and tight spaces where a 3 inch would be too much. They are really good at releasing products that are just bind and fly and no bother with pids and other annoyances! i've flown the v1 tinyhawk to within an inch of it's life and all i've broken are props! couple of quid later and boom, your back in the air again😊. Very good company with very reliable products

    At least their using solid pins on the ph2 connector. Definitely try the twin blade 65mm props on this one. I would assume the lighter weight of the props would really help out tho this one is pretty responsive with the avans on it

      7000kv would be gutless 8000 is the sweet spot for the 65mm

      AndyRC true. My betafpv hx100 just arrived so I’ll be testing 8000kv on 65mm 2s real soon 👍

    On the audio is there a way to filter out the breakup?

      Not really other than edit it out in the video editor and replace with non break up audio from other parts of the flight

    one question, can we use the same battery connector for tinyhawk S?

    • @AndyRCchannel
      @AndyRCchannel  5 лет назад +1

      no as the tinyhawk S 2s lipo uses one ph2 connectors and the freestyle uses 2 ph2 connectors in series

      emax for power and flight time. geprc for range

      @@AndyRCchannel is the power consideration because of the props? I would imagine the 1103 8000kv on the Phantom aren't too much different in power than the 7000s on the Tinyhawk?

      Possibly because I unlocked my vtx so if the cli is set to a channel that is locked then it won't produce a signal. Unlock the vtx to access the channel

    Nice! There are so many type of multi rotors now. How about making an overview video about different types of quads? Discussing in which respect they overlap in their qualities and in which way they are different. What type of flying and what type of pilot should choose the one type or another? Should we be building some or all of these types of models to get for example value for the money, quality, performance or creative satisfaction?

    • @AndyRCchannel
      @AndyRCchannel  5 лет назад +2

      its so hard to do with a new model coming out every day. ny favorites are the skystars starlord for 5 inch freestlye. for a racer id custom build 6s these days. for a beginner would be the original tiny hawk. a 3 inch racer would be the diatone gtr 369 with my tune and cinewhoop would be the geprc cinepro4k

    • @dempa3
      @dempa3 5 лет назад

      @@AndyRCchannel Thanks for the quick reply Andy! Yes, it is definitely difficult to keep up with all the models that the manufacturers are pumping out. Therefore I thought it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on why should one fly a whoop or a 5 inch freestyle or racer or similar. How are the experiences similar and how are they different? What makes the different styles fun or a good choice so to say :)

    How are you so good at PID tuning? You're recommended settings are on most of my quads now.

    • @AndyRCchannel
      @AndyRCchannel  5 лет назад

      if a quad has a bad tune but has the potential to be one of the best and I can offer that. Then its worth it to me. in the case of diatone they just didnt get it right. for me this one wasnt right where others might say it was. But the next video on this model should show my tune working nice with no oscillations and a slightly longer flight time
