IT was a great video and good info. Pls let me know about the diff locks in the 2021 model diesel manual how it works as the 4wheel gear shift does not show or indicate .Does it come on automatically. Thanks
2H : Normal mode ( power to rear wheels only) 4H : For slippery , rocky , dusty ,snowy etc conditions ( where more power/torque along with the speed is required) N : just a stop in between 4H & 4L for safety purpose and not to screw gearbox . 4L : situations like climbing , towing etc is required where u need more power/torque but at the cost of lesser speed . Hope this is right & helps 😅🙏
@@rameshnayak1480 N means neutral , it just gives u and the machine some time with extra safety buffer to avoid inadvertently selection of other mode suddenly .
@@satyambhat3540 if you can live with the fuel efficiency, it’s a incredibly capable & fun car. Mine is a automatic petrol, which returns a figure of around 8.2 kmpl with little cautious driving
mileage will increase if you will follow my steps - 1). Good tyre pressure 2). Slowly acceleration 3). Constant speed of 30 to 40 kmph with power petrol 4). Servicing on every year of your car 5). Avoid sudden breaking and avoid sudden acceleration 6). your car rpm should not be more than 3000-4000 rpm 7).In traffic areas drive at 20kmph constant speed 8) .Good quality fuel and engine oil will increase mileage
In my old 1987 Gypsy I could drive in 2nd low ratio by disconnecting the front wheel hubs. This was very useful on steep inclines in the hills. Since the front wheels were freewheeling, a central differential as in the Lara in a, was not required for permanent AWD.
Amazing content! Shocking that your videos don't have even more views. Really loving all the videos. Very happy to have come across such refreshing content.
Very detailed video I have ever seen for a Thar..........woooooooooooo........after seeing the last clips, I came to know about the Low range gearbox and it's capabilities👌 Niceee broooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's a very underrated channel on automotive reviews. I can't thank you enough for creating such an incredibly detailed illustration of the drive mechanism of the new Mahindra Thar! Love you bro and wishing you lots of success and great heath.
Hi Bunny, I am not very conversant with HIndi hence could you post the same video with subtitles in English explaining the whole process in English please , thanks very informative for me, thanks once again
I thought that when you have 4H turned on ,while making circles the or taking turns the drive shaft experiences a force and can cause permanent damage to the driveshaft? Due to the differential mechanism and logic….4H has power distribution 50-50 to front and back…
This makes no sense: why is the traction control off when in 4 low? One would need all the traction that one can get. I have been driving 4x4s since 1965 in all manner of cars/trucks.
Traction control doesn’t add up traction as you are possibly thinking. It switches off torque supply to wheels when over slippery surfaces so that it doesn’t slip further because of a freely spinning wheel over a traction less surface.

Is this colour is galaxy grey?
Hello sir
What about a normal drive, driving on a road
Fir kaunsa best rehta hai?
Should we press clutch while changing 4 *4
After engaging 4L what gear should we put 1st gear or 2nd gear
And what 4H too what gear should we put
In normal driving conditions, like on flat normal road, do we leave the 4x4 gearbox on 2H or on N?
In the MT do I need to press the clutch to shift from 2H to 4H and 4L?
No. Just be in neutral
4h ya 4L konsa tagda hai
Crystal clear informative video. Thank you
Front & rear differential lockers available hai new thar me ?
Yes 👍
running condition me 4x4 ko shift kr skte hai kya
Na bhai it be bad for the car

What happens when the 4x4 lever is at N, but you try to drive ?
In Manual, do you press clutch in order to engage 4x4 Lever.
Sir very informative video...

4*4 gear ko N pe rkh k chlae toh?
What is Traction Control ?? What it does ?? When do we use it & when not ??
Nice information from Radisson 😉
Sir I booked diesel automatic is it ok
If i put in neutral (N)...thn hum gaari chala sakta he na? Ya gear 2H mehi hamesa hona chahiye? ( Talking about 4×4)
Neutral mein gaadi nhi chalegi. You need to put it in drive mode(for automatic) or 1st or 2nd gear(for manual)
Hello nice video. Which camera you are using ?
I did this in p is it ok?
sir kya mai 4h use kr skta hu daily regular driving me

Fantastic video U hav made.....

you know maruti 800 could go through those conditions in which you used the thar
Errr the conditions were mainly done as a reference point. Most of the important things were to showcase shifting from x to y to z :-)
