  • Weighted Links allow you to transfer the displacements of so called independent references (points, edges/curves or surfaces) to one dependent point. Idealized connection of references from one or more parts to obtain a certain structural behaviour

    Hello thank you very much for your video. Where do u find your stifness values for the springs ?

      The weighted links simulate your bearing. So i think you have to use the bearingstiffness.

    Hello guys and thanks for the video, really appreciated. I have a question: how can I create a point in the space, in particular a center point of a hole? I need this point because it will be the dependent point of a weighted link.

      In the model tab, you will have the option to create points from datum overflow menu. Pick any enitity like surface, plane or edge. You will get drag handles to constrain the point in space. Use them to locate your point as your intend to.

      Create an axis in the center of the circle and then you can fix your point at the plane where you're interested.
