Just got my Florentine satchel today. Several years after his video lol. Thinking of also getting the mini in natural but this one was on sale and I already have a natural ish color in the ostrich. But anyways, I did your trick but used the extra securing loop before feeding the longer end in to the other side and it works great. Not sure if this is translating properly, but may be helpful to people I'm hoping. Thanks for this video
Nicole I just watched your video and I was able to make my long strap on my (New to ME!) strawberry Florentine Satchel and OMG, I love the way this looks! You can't even tell that the lady glued the together or made a hole. I am so going to send you some shots of it that I took of it. Thank you so much! I am in love with her and I love, love the way the handles look. It makes it easier not to miss the handles. Hugs LisaG
Finally Finally I found the double loop that's not hard. I went and pulled one out of my closet and wahala. I have been trying to figure this out for years. I don't have time to do them all but yes Lord finally. All the other videos I just couldn't get it. Short sweet simple and to the point. LOVE YA MA BEECH.
My friend did that to her new satchel and cause the leather strap is going against the hardware her leather started to crack and it tore eventually. I love the look but I don’t want my leather to tear over time being rubbed up against the hook ring. 😢
I know it's been awhile (6yrs to be ballpark) but I need help...how can I turn a Vintage Dooney & Bourke Florentine Vacchetta Black Leather Handbag into a strap bag/cross body bag?
I Always just go to Amazon and get a new strap. That's almost made out of something that's made out of like car seat material. Not car. Seat material but like the belt that goes across you or whatever any kind that you want to get you get leather, you can get anything you want and then not have to go through any of that 4 pretty cheap. And then you don't ruin that strap in case you decide to sell the bag later.
