These LEGO sets are awkward. LEGO has a weird obsession with bathroom humor. LEGO designers including toilets and poo is far more common than you think. Some of these sets are gross while others are super creative and are built using genius LEGO building techniques. Watch to see them all.

Ever since they created this piece, they've really doubled down on using it as often as they can XD

I'll never understand why you all think it's awkward to have toilets in lego buildings. When I was young, I would be very disappointed if some house set didn't have toilet or kitchen because how can minifigs live without it? When I made MOCs, a toilet was a must in every building...

  • @menkomonty

The Lego Friends set missed a trick with that toilet build. They should've included three smaller seashells

  • @ThePariahDark

I think omitting toilets and giving kids the wrong impression toilets are somehow forbidden or not meant to exist would be more harmful to them than having them is.

What's wrong with toilets? Are they some adult stuff, kids aren't supposed to know about? As a kid I was more upset that the lego sets never included toilets or bathrooms than the other way around.

I watched someone review different Barbie dreamhouses, and they brought up a really good point that I think applies here. Originally, Barbie dreamhouses didn't include bathrooms or kitchens - they included the more fanciful aspects of life instead of what was mundane. But they soon realized that as they were making toys for children, children actually really valued those spaces, because at that point in their life, that's what they were learning about. After that, most dreamhouses included a bathroom, because it helped children play with and learn about the part of life. Lots of adults really like Lego, and these are funny easter eggs / potty humor to them, but at the end of the day, they are literal toys for children who are still new to the whole life thing.

I love the silly little poop jokes on the sets. They’re charming and very appealing for kid’s toilet humor lol

  • @CaptainCater32

Toilets and poop is definitely a normal thing and I think its okay to use them in sets for childs too :D

  • @beckg7317

    ur overthinking it, it's lego

"Bathroom Humor isn't appropriate for kids" Have you ever met a middle schooler? Body Humor is half their vocabulary!

don’t know why people think toilet humor isn’t for kids

  • @waterfoul717

i can just never help but feel like the lego community at large forgets that lego are primarily children’s toys, for children, aimed at the age group (of children) that most finds toilet humor hysterical. because they’re children. shock! i know!

  • @StayestOfStays

So, do humans irl also have a "weird obsession" with including a toilet in every house?

When you started talking about the ice cream after giving the legit reasons why there would be poop involved in other sets and how it’s the same block I cracked up. I don’t even think it’s awkward. Everything poops, and poop is something your gonna have to deal with, especially if you do plumbing work or farming… I think it would be worse off if they didn’t have bathrooms. I could see an inquisitive child thinking “but where’s the bathroom?”

"Poop is not appropriate on a kids toy"

  • @rabbitguts2518

You seem to have forgotten that children actively like poop humor - to the point that there's been a poop themed craze for the last few years with every toy imaginable having some kind of poop play feature. Go to go flamingo, ugly putty, flush n' frenzy, doggy doo, poopsie surprise and a whole sea of poop themed slime, just to name a few.
