Maan, these old videos just make me realize how much I miss the old UI 😢
Considering you happened upon some early mollusc reputation and snail encrusted gear, have a poison sting and now poison fangs it would be fun if this character ate the cloaca surprise!
The second tail it would give you is an additional cudgel weapon with chance to poison.
Then you should tattoo Slog's beautiful visage with that tattoo gun and be his biggest fan, spreading poison around Qud.
I was considering this based on your comment, it's always very tempting - however, since this is a multiweapon build I think it would be a bad idea (also because our mollusk rep is still -400) but I would like to do a chaotic Qud run in the new year and I'm 100% going to become Slog (best girl)
I know im late, but I just wanted to point out that at that bottoms of every rust well there is a guaranteed 100 feet of wire no matter what. Usually i just go straight to the bottom and find my way back up without exploring too much as to avoid the kudzu
i find the rust wells to be a pretty annoying quest as well. a lot of times i will try to have some sort of early flight so that i can descend down to the center and get the 100 ft of wire by the chest, which i believe always will spawn there. that way i just fly in and out of two wells and can finish the quest while basically ignoring everything. i just find picking up wire really tedious otherwise, especially since it won't autopickup.
I agree with the tedium of collecting wire, also because I think I must have done that quest about 500 times by this point, no joke haha. The flight trick is also really great in Golgotha - you can fly down the exit hole and then back up with the waydroid :)
just dont make the mistake of thinking 8000 drams of warer would cushion a fall, so you can go straight up. It won't.
Tinkers like argyve can also repair your rusted items for a few drams each
Exactly :) Or if you have the repair skill you can do it yourself, but I find it's not worth it personally.
doing some catching up ;) watching and playing along. In my current run I am already past the bethesta susa part in the barathrumites quest. Kinda feel stuck a bit in terms of gear (even though I got a nice build: jacked laser rifle and electrical generation.) Yet I lack the umpf to mape it towards the spindle. I'm really curious to see how you will get along and what tipps I can pick up on the way.
Nice work on making it past Bethesda Susa: the Great Filter of Qud runs. You should be able to make your way to the spindle if you've beaten Bethesda. If you're stuck for good gear, make sure you spend a little time farming goatfolk in the jungle and maybe go exploring in the ruins. Once you get to Ezra, you can clone Sixshrew and keep checking them for new armour
can you explain armor conditions such as cracked rusted and how to fix them? oh and the tattoo should be a red "RAZORFACE" on your forehead lol
Sure! Cracked means -1 AV, and it can stack. It will repair itself over time though, it's temporary.
Rusted means you can no longer equip the item and you must repair it, and if the item is rusted twice it will crumble into dust (you can repair with fix-it spray foam or at a tinker merchant like Argyve)
I like the Razorface tattoo! As soon as the episodes are caught up I will do that one :)
Does auto explore open fossilized remains?
You know, I'm not sure? I know autoexplore loots moldering corpses, but the fossilised remains may need to be (o)pened manually.
You should tattoo a horn onto you because your horn is so powerful

You don't need to save on as you will get one for free at the start of a certain quest :)
