    Thank you so much. I just finished a blanket for my grandson. I started it during lockdown but put it away . I told him about it last year and promised to finish it. He was so excited and so happy to finally get it. I made it so we can add to it if he wants more. I think it will be an heirloom. Thanks again for sharing, God bless.

    Love the video! But I do have a question- how do you join all of the rows together once you have all the rows you want made?

    If you use DK yarn doubled if you haven’t a bright color in the thicker yarn would it fit in or come out bigger and not fit next block 🥰🤗,🧸Thank you for you lovely idea ❤️🌻

    I would have love this all step by step from the beginning to the end of the blanket. Not in this is one block and here is another. Then you do the in between like this

    How did you count your rows on each strip to get them to line up for your single crochet join? The hdc section is fuller in height so strips don't line up right. How many stitches do you use when joining the hdc sections?

    • @EasyOrElse
      @EasyOrElse  5 лет назад +1

      I just added a row of singles on the top of the second strip to line the two up and then joined ...then measured the successive strips to that ...going left to right. As long as you use the same amount in your join it should stay pretty straight. As you get close to a top of the strip just lay it down side by side and see what type of stitch you need to make up the difference.

    I need to make 2 Lego blankets. In all the other patterns I've seen each block had to be sewn or crocheted together individually. Not something I looked forward to doing. With your technique it will be so much easier to get both done. Thank you.

    I have crocheted the LEGO blanket. The problem I am having is when I join the strips. They are the same length when I join them but they don’t join straight. The start curving. I join stitch for stitch but they still curve. What am I doing wrong.

    • @EasyOrElse
      @EasyOrElse  5 лет назад

      I did not join stitch for stitch. Just held the two together and kept the single crochet loops fairly even.

      EasyOrElse What size hook did you use for the LEGO blanket

    • @EasyOrElse
      @EasyOrElse  5 лет назад

      @@jswifty250 In this video it is an L-8.0 hook but if you use a smaller hook you will just have tighter blocks

      Mine is doing the same. I am on my 5th row joining. I'm very discouraged at how curved it is. Should I rip put the single crochet connecting them and start over?
