Came here looking for the turn signal connection. but as others pointed out, there's no mention of it here or even on RC's web site. My jeep came with these lights already installed when I purchased it. I went to plug an adapter into the cigarette lighter socket one day and there was no power to the device I had plugged in. Lo and behold when I checked to see if the fuse had blown, I discovered it was tapped incorrectly and just like this video. The 20amp fuse goes into the other socket on the tap, the one closer to the original fuse location This keeps the lighter socket powered. I used a 5 amp fuse in the other socket of the tap to power the DRL.
Just purchased mine and it has a third wire coming out of the back for a turn signal. I don't see the set in the video have these. Is there a video on how to install ?
Hi, Just finished the install and it sure was easy and the lights look great. The only problem is the beam seem awfully narrow on the outer sides, starting a few feet from the front of the jeep which makes it hard to see anything as you turn into a road. Is there any adjustments on that? I just installed it on 2020 Jeep JT Gladiator Help would be appreciated
Did you figure your issue out? I just installed mine a few minutes ago, and I have the same issue. Im going to return them, if they aren't going to work properly.
Nothing about how to wire in the turn signal and daytime running lights, The one thing where you actually have to splice and there is not any clear instructions on this, For 550.00 this is disappointing!
Those aren’t the halo once’s they make two different headlight the 499 on is the one they installed and the 549 is the one with the halo/amber turn signal
Absolutely terrible written instructions and video instructions. Just glosses over the connection for the turn signal. I have my fuse block tap, and the lights are going highbeam, low beam, and having some flickering. These are supposed to be plug and play clearly not doing what they’re supposed to do. Of course, I do it on a Saturday, so guess who’s not available to receive calls to answer questions. Might be sending these back to rough country and going with oracles.

Why doesn't anyone cover the turn signal feature install? Rough Country should be the first to address this step of the install.

I tried to install these, I was so excited but when I turned them on only the center bulb turned on. No halo no X. What did I do wrong?

@@brandonwilliams1067 nope never figured out the issue. I also tried to contact Rough Country, they never got back to me. I did end up returning them.
You guys have to buy a tazer and plug it into your obd port and program it to LED so they work properly

Can you please update the video to I clude the amber switchbacks? No body covers this step, we figure RC should.very frustrating
