- Its been a while since my last video, and hopefully i can start making more consistent videos for you guys.
In this video we go have some fun at the local offroad spot and also catch everyone up to speed on the upcoming projects for the channel.
The hemi swap has been a blast, and it has more than enough power... Even enough to get you in some trouble haha.

With the hemi swap wrapped up, i think its time that we take a good second look at the Jeep Gladiator and start up a few projects on it. I really hope we can squeeze in a offroad trip as well!

Great meeting you all at South Padre. That rain storm was crazy. Hemi’s sound great. “Have I flipped thr Jeep yet.” Lol. Hope to see you all out on the trail again soon.
Do some over landing in Big Bend National Park since you’re already in Texas. And you can even take a day trip to the small Mexican village of Boquillas.

Hay Ben and Cassy, you guys helped me decide to buy a Gladiator. Got a Rubicon with a 2.5" Jeep lift on it with 37s pre-installed. Just got back from Moab where I did Fins N Things and Hell's Revenge. She did great, did not do the optional stuff but did take the hard-line when given the option. The only damage was on my trailer hitch dragging a bit. If you are in dought of the off-road worthiness, she can take it.
You managed to turn the front wheels at the right time.

I’ve been driving Jeeps since the ’70s, I’m on my 8th one - an ‘18 JLU RUBICON. I waited years for them to come out with a pick up, and I don’t like it. There’s something about the cab design that I just can’t take to.
I hear ya. Been wanting that Gladiator and went down to drive one. Ended up getting a Wrangler - just didn't love the design of the Gladiator as much as I thought I would.

The great thing about south Texas wheeling is mud bogging. You should buy some TSL Boggers and find a local competition and see how well your Jeep does in a bog.

For the gladiator, I say you both should share videos for gladiator upgrades. Even do a part 1 on 1 channel and then a part 2 on the other. Since it’s a family Jeep

13.5 on a 6.4L V8 is what I get (on a good day) with the Bumble Jeep (95 XJ 5 speed) 4L. So not fair. I'm thinking of doing a 5.7L swap on the Bumble Jeep. And I do want to keep the 5 speed manual. Not looking to do any HP upgrades on the Hemi as a stock 5.7 should be plenty HP for an old XJ. Glad you didn't roll it. God bless and stay well.

That's v8 swap is realistic man. Loved the series on that. I would just go with the 5.7 Hemi but its definitely a possibility soon er than later.
Come up to San Antonio, Texas overland route, hidden falls, katemcy rocks, wolf caves all close by.

Ben you might be a little young to have gone through this but I'm just old enough to remember. We all know the CJ-5 and CJ-7 were epic off-road in their day. The entire reason that the CJ-5 and CJ-7 were replaced by the YJ was due to lawsuits. The CJ-5 and CJ-7 were available with a factory V8 and they were really easy to flip if you didn't have a healthy respect for them. The factory V8 was also really easy to modify or replace with a 360 or 401 for more power. That same move you just barely got away with in the JK would have flipped a CJ-5. I know it sounds a little troubling but a CJ-5 will also wheelie and that makes up for it. Through the years they have tried to make Jeeps safer and in the process they've kind of lost something.
I'll be at Big Bend National Park and Northwest OHV Park, 5-22 through 5-30.

I have a 2003 tj and went with a boosted technologies supercharger and will be doing a 4.6 stroker. That will give me power without all the fabrication. Just another idea. The supercharger on the base 4.0 is good but can be better

Sorry your ripp coil packs are causing you trouble, I got mine after you did your video and I've put almost 10,000 miles and still no trouble. I do have the 3.6L though.
