This is an unboxing video of the Casio PX-780 digital piano. I got this from Costco Canada at a very special price. It's very slim and compact, so it is just right for the space that we have in our small living room. I also show how to assemble the unit. - Кино

Hi, I see that the volume is at 50% while you play, right? So, if I play in my living room -40 sq m- for myself, is that volume too much loud, is it weak or it is just fine? Now I have a old CasioTone-470 and I use it at 20% of its higher volume and it is OK for me.
Thank you for your answer, Danboarding!
Hi there! Yes, I think you will be fine at 50% with this digital piano. My living room is almost as big as the area you mentioned. Hope that helps!
@@Danboarding Hi! Finally I bought this piano and the volume is great in my LR at a 50% volume; thank you very much for your help! Question: there are some keys at the Harpsichord function that do not sound similar to other keys -same function- and that is something disturbing. They sound in tone but with a little crack (like a "chist") included. Is this problem usual in this piano model? Thank you in advance.
@@mv2rzst874 That's great to hear that you finally got yours! Unfortunately I do not have any thoughts about the Harpsichord sounds as I only use the default Grand Piano sound. I personally have not encountered any problem but maybe that is something to contact Casio about. Sorry I was not of any help there.
Have you tried the Yamaha DGX670...if so which do you feel is better?
Feature-wise, I think the Yamaha DGX670 has more. I own a PSR-SX700 and I think the DGX670 has a watered-down arranger function as the PSRSX. My primary purpose on why I chose the Casio is it's slim factor; I have limited space and if I went with the DGX670 that would have taken a slightly bigger space than the Casio, which is really compact and slim. Since this instrument will be in our living room, a cover was another consideration. Plus, the DGX670 was not yet available during the time I purchase this Casio, which I got on sale so price factored in a bit. Cost and form factor was a big part of my buying decision. I do feel the Yamaha to be better right now just because it is the newer model.
Do the keys wobble or anything like that, how do the keys feel after a year?
HI there! No key wobble or anything. The piano is holding up really well and plays as good as the first day as far as I know.
@@Danboarding thanksss for the prompt response!
@@arvindiyer1649 Thanks for checking out the video!
Hi there 👋 Is the box heavy? Like could one person lift the box into a car and drive it home?
I would not advise for one person to lift the box into a car and drive it home! It needs to be a two-person job. When I got mine, the delivery guy was struggling to bring it up to our doorway. I was home alone when I shot this video and I struggled mightily just to get it inside our living room. It can be done, but it would be more convenient to have another person help carry it. I hope that helps!
btw, how much is that electric screwdriver?
It’s a cordless, battery operated screw driver. It might still be around $30 Canadian Dollars.
What is the song you were playing?
The first one was "Give Thanks with a Grateful Heart" by Don Moen and the second one was "Bless the Lord, Oh My Soul" by Matt Redman. My amateur version.
If i may ask, how much is it?
Hi there! I got in on sale from Costco here in Canada for around $799 Canadian Dollars.
I just paid 849 plus tax and I am in torotno. Just curious how Much u got it for? Lol
At the time of purchase, it was on sale for $799 at Costco here in Rocky View, Alberta, which is just a few minutes north of Calgary.

日本で発売されなかったのが残念でした。
I am surprised to hear that. Maybe it's only for the North America market.
