This reminds me of when I was severely getting bullied, While my mom was diagnosed with end stage liver disease, And was told she had 12 to 17 months to live. At school, For my grade, We we’re having a poetry slam, I wrote a poem about this, I read it in front of my entire class, And was chosen to read my poem in front of the whole 5th grade. I did. I won. (I kinda cried onstage tho.) 😊
