One of the two lost their parents and had to raise her little brother by herself. The other one helped his friend. Together, they overcame obstacles life threw at them and became well-known in the military for their services and friendship. Eventually one of them died in a war. The girl left the military and started to claim their childhood goals of being musicians. This was the song she wrote to describe their story.
