Back here in 2024 because I loved this song as a child. Through ups and downs, we had so many great years as a tight, happy loving family then a couple years ago suddenly it blew up in my face when the very day I swore would never happen came and my parents split after a period of nothing but lies and deception. Every time I wished my mother would come clean, she only left me with more confusion, dishonesty and hurt. I no longer talk with her but it completely tore our family apart and for a few years I was lost in an abyss of self-destruction, plagued by feelings of failure, anger, hurt, sadness and confusion that further manifested into depression and anxiety which came to a head before last Christmas and I no longer had the will inside me to carry on like this. It took a long time to get here but I'm now in therapy, talking and getting it all out there with someone, feeling like they understand and slowly but surely as Nicole says in the song, I'm crawling up on my feet again. It'll take time that I know, but believe me people it's worth the effort. Never lose hope.

I'm immensely proud of Nicole Scherzinger. Her songs and her music are absolutely superb and she's got it all. I was 14 years old when this came out and when I first heard it, I absolutely loved it. Listening to it makes me feel 14 all over again.
I'm proud of her because this song helped me get out of a bad, toxic, controlling, manipulative and false friendship with someone from Secondary School.
He wouldn't socialise with anyone, he wouldn't treat me or anyone nicely. We tried to make put our differences aside day to day, but, he was always trying to change me into somebody I'm not, he kept testing my loyalty, he kept trying to get me to cave into him and let him have his own way. I tried, you know. I really tried everything I could to be the friend he wanted, but, no matter how many times I tried and no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't be the friend he wanted me to be. I woke up one morning and I realised I wasn't myself anymore, so I argued with him, was rude back to him, turned on him and only cared about socialising with whoever I wanted to, getting as many girlfriends as possible and becoming as popular as possible. We both walked out on eachother and I've never been happier since leaving him. He was everything I hated-a loser, a spoiled brat, an outcast, a sad case, a liar, a drip, a greedy pig, a control freak, a traitor, a backstabber, a piece of lowlife, a problem child, a double crosser, the list just goes on.

Actually I know those songs and I don't think they have the same vibe and sound at all, except "I Like" which is more synth-pop while the other ones are totally different genres and styles. Learn to find happiness within yourself rather than depend on external circumstances. I recently suffered through a heartbreak and it absolutely destroys you. BUT when you come out on the other side, you'll be a lot stronger, wiser and more desirable! A young, strong and brave woman :)

She doesn't quite have the X-Faxtor stage presence of Beyonce or Lady Gaga. Any one of those PCD girls could have fronted the PCD if they all sang equally, since they all had good stage presence. But did any one of them have great star quality stage presence? Were any one of them charismatic enough to go it alone? I don't know. But definately not Nicole. Nicole has a great voice. No doubt.
