I thought about doing this exact thing when i saw the price of this equipment. Excellent work on breaking down the build and engineering, much appreciated 👍

you're welcome. They're fairly easy to build once you figure out all the pieces. Let me know how your build goes. Thanks for leaving a comment.

Very nice I saw on Amazon they have a knock off of the blackboard original in a hard plastic. Wasn’t as nice as yours aesthetically but it looks like it could do the job plus a little extra

Thanks. It's really a lot of fun, I've used it daily ever since I made it and my balance has improved a great deal, a game changer.

That's awesome! Might try and make one but do you think it feels any different to one foot on one of those circular wobble cushions (or one foot on a board on top of that) as I already have those so not sure why it would be any different/better? Maybe as heel kept in place whilst foot moves? Can you tell any difference? Thanks!

Thanks. I usually keep the heel area fixed as you see here, it provides plenty of movement for the foot. Use it everyday and it helps...

I also follow Peter, and wanted to make this too. How do the ones you can purchase secure the paracord? I don't see any knots tied on their boards?

Not sure how they do the cord. Didn't want to buy one. Mine works great. Use it every day, and my balance is increasing...
