even in your tired state you brought us gold! i liked, i commented, i subbed! thanks for saving me days on this thing which gave me headache. God bless you.
im in a BYOL PP course. its the best academy ive been in out of three ive tried. but some of the courses were made four years ago and though they work, small things like this have changed
Great video and amazing time saver tbh. Quick question though: Once the pre-render is done, (the same way it happens to a normal render) where will that 'pre-rendered' piece go? Does it go to a location in storage like After Effects does OR does it become part of the RAM Preview space? And 2nd, once project is done and I don't need that Pre-render, how to delete it? Thanks in advance
I tried to export a 93 minute timeline. It took an hour and the file is only 7 minutes long. It plays in Premiere but it won’t play anywhere else. I was taking a basic mp4 4K timeline and rendering it to 1980p H264. What should I set in order to get a working file? Thanks in advance!
So unfortunately that’s the annoying part of it. Anytime you make a cut or change it will go back to yellow render in to out it helpful for needing to preview so instead of rendering out the entire sequences use your in to out points and then render that in to out section so it takes less time
Are you on a MacBook? You are able to search in the help window up top and search that and it will find it for you! If not what version are you on in premiere? I might be a different location depending on the version
Hi Danny, Thanks for the quick and easy explanation. I did have a question about my computer though. I have an Alien ware Aurora 8 & while it has tons of ram memory I am pretty sure my graphics card needs to be updated or that is what I think is causing me to have really really slow production times in both After Effects and PP. I wanted to know if this is the problem or if it might be something else? Thanks.
Yeah gpu is a huge roll in this. There’s two things to look at. 1 gpu is going to be a minimum of 6-8gb to run these smoothly since it’s visual intense. Next look at how much ram you delicate to each software. You can check this by going to preference and going to media storage I believe it’s called somewhere in the settings will give you control over how much ram goes to each software on your computer.
1. There are some effects that wont render out in timeline and you'll have to export it out. 2. Could be your computer isn't able to handle the rendering 3.your media cache could be full in which you'll have to clear it and try again
If it does that you can take off the effect and nest the clip by right clicking and nesting then to the nested clip go ahead and add the effect then try rendering it out
I have a question for you. I added a de-noiser to a part of my footage and got a yellow line. Also, the software said I needed to turn on GPU acceleration to be able to use it. I turned it on and tried to pre-render using render in to out. The render get to about 99.69% complete and then just stops. No error or anything but its not moving and the estimated time left is at 0. How can I fix this issue?
For rendering, there could be an issue with cache files. so first I would clear my cache files and then try again to render it. if you're still not able to render it. You can export that one clip with the in-to-out points, preview the export, and then fix anything you wish to change on that clip. I know that's not ideal but it is an option. Once that is figured out just leave it unrendered until you export it will render it out with the export. another option if the cache files don't work and you don't want to export is either update premiere if it's updated and try it there. Obviously, if you have the most up to date it wouldn't matter.
@@dannymatthewsedit Its great that you answer these so quickly. I bet you help lots of people out. Thanks for your assistance and I will look you up for other tutorials and I will tell people about you. Thanks again.
Unfortunately no, if its an intense effect most the time it will be red unless you render it out. Or if its super annoying you could just export that part out and edit with an exported version and then when you want to export the whole video just removed the section you exported.

when I use a timecode after I rendered the clip with it, whenever I make a cut it turns back yellow, how do I fix that?

Hi, I have a red line on my entire clip, and nothing happens either when I press enter or choose 'Render in to out'. Could you please advise?
1. There are some effects that wont render out in timeline and you'll have to export it out.
2. Could be your computer isn't able to handle the rendering
3.your media cache could be full in which you'll have to clear it and try again

It will render green and then automatically change to red
If it does that you can take off the effect and nest the clip by right clicking and nesting then to the nested clip go ahead and add the effect then try rendering it out

Isn't it gonna drop quality bro?
Weather you render it out in your timeline or not it won’t affect the final export
OHHHHH
I hate the red, is there away to always have my effects as yellow and not red?
