I don't know why I can't get this right! I'm doing it verbatim and it's just not working for me. I have the most updated version of Premiere - I'm not sure if they change anything.
hi, is it possible to add new points to the mask during the video or remove already created points without messing up the mask on the previous keyframes?
yes, if you hold down command and click on one of the dots it will delete it and you can add point by clicking on the line mask with your mouse. ope this helps. Thank you!
@@editorskeys Yes, this procedure is known, but not without damaging the mask on the previous keyframe... this has been confirmed to me from another source as well. The mask, variable in time must always have the same number of points. If I later need to add or delete points, this will be done backwards on all keyframes, and the mask will need to be re-adjusted to make it work properly...So the answer is: no...
Do you have a video on how to delete a mask? I goofed and have 2 masks on the same timeline. The effects control only shows 1 mask though, and I'm lost. I tried exiting and going back into PP however my last save, saved the problem.
Hi, to make the mask path appear again click on the word "mask 1" in the effects panel and this will make it appear. Hope this helps. Let me know if you need any more help with this
Help! Everytime I do this, the mask position does not change with the frames of the clip, so from the beginning I can see a dark patch in place before the transition is due to come in. How can I ensure the mask alters to every frame as the size amendments stay the same as the last final frame measurement for the whole clip when I play back
Davinci if you want really good colour grading, its fast but can be a bit complicated if new to it. Premiere Pro for basic editing and basic colour grading. so i guess it depends on your workflow! hope this helps. let me know if you have any other questions :)
I basically know everytNice tutorialng there is to know about soft soft but I still watched tNice tutorials through just because of how good you explained
@@editorskeys thanks mate. Is there a way to delete points you don't use anymore? Also, how do you mask a spot on the original clip which doesn't fully cover the frame. I.E I have a clip of someone jumping onto a box, I zoomed in on the clip and at one stage just over 3 quarters of the clip is covered, which makes the masking fine, but as his feet hit come onto the box, the bottom of the clip is exposed. So I'm wanting to mask that bit as well as needed so it basically appears as if the trail of his feet is only showing as clip 2 begins to show.
you should share with us the exact stock footages you uses in your video. so that we could practice on the exact footage. we are very tired to find out some exact stock footage like this.
