Man, I remember being in the same cafeteria as the guys who were part of the community developing this game back before my final year in highschool 2011. I was so surprised to see this game pop up when searching for cute games on steam, as I never thought about those people(whom I never had a good time with) and this game ever since they graduated in.... 2009 or something.
Wow. The first time I was ever introduced to emulation was with the kids behind this game having the N64 Smash Bros. on their laptop. It was during the same year I talked with my workshop teacher about Crisis having good(natural) character dialogue moments. And the digital art teacher made it his mission to yell at the class at how they'll never be able to do historical museum level artwork.
Man I hate people.

Agreed, I liked the voice clips from Act Cadenza better as well. The Controls in Actress Again Current Code are a bit less forgiving too. It's harder to pull off ArcDrives and skills. In Act Cadenza you could just sort of slap the keyboard and you'd manage to get your combo working as intended. AACC actually requires you to have pretty precise timing.. not too fast not too slow...

Use EX shield (Press Shield [D] as soon as an attack hits, do not hold) in a certain position (jumping, standing and/or crouching, depends on character) while in Blood Heat mode.

aside from some AD+LA voice acting and animations being better in act cadenza (the ones in question are either lazily done here, are missing some effects the old ones had, or have seemingly overly forced/bored voice acting), these are still awesome (didn't see the ciel where she constantly uses seven yet o; it's awesome!)

@@nemanjamilivojevic9551 I meant the Tsukihime anime. I was thinking that's the failiure you mentioned, since most people would rather not even mention it. The VN might have been so-so, but it wasn't nearly as disasterous as the anime.

There are quite a lot of pieces, mostly from Touhou. At least the ones I recognize/bother to recognize.

and to top it, even set to the very minimum settings it lags like hell when heat/blood heat is activated on lower spec computers, even though act cadenza worked perfectly on maximum settings (among all those graphical updates, it surprises me how they lowered the quality of some animations to be worse than the predecessor's)

The first one is a remix of 'Phatom Ensemble', though I don't know which one it is. Even though I feel like I've heard it hundreds of times. The second one is a remix of Necrofantasia. And I don't recognize the rest...

I'm sure you've figured this by now, but on the off chance you haven't - the controls for the keyboard cannot be changed, and as far as I'm aware there's no hack or patch for it yet.
As for the controls themselves:
WASD movement
E for Heat, Blood Heat, Circuit Break and throwing, if given a directional input.
C, V and B are for light, medium and heavy attacks respectively.
F is shield.
Q is pause.

Well the original MBAA was for the PS2, and it had some features that the PC version does not have, but it has to be a japanese PS2.

It's a very powerful move only available to Crescent and Full moon. Last Arcs are triggered by EX-Shielding (or Shield in Full Moon, but not by held shield) an attack during Blood Heat. Each Last Arc requires the character to be on the ground or in the air, depending on the character. Most Last Arcs do at least half a lifebar's worth of damage.
Does anyone know the last song playing? I know I used to listen to it but I can't remember it anymore.
Someone answer this for me please. I'm not sure if it's this game but this girl does a special where she does 3 hits and transforms herself on every hit. I think she uses an axe on her final hit...

What's the difference between the two Tohno Akiha's? I'm not talking about the Vermilion version either.
+PabloTheOffender Seifuku Akiha is much more mobile than her normal self and has a different set of moves. Seifuku is somewhat angular but is very adapt at rushing down or zoning depending on what moon system that you choose.
