Amazing video!! This honestly the perfect video to show to my non gaming partner to explain my frustration with the game that I really do love…but don’t like.
Reminds me of an old League of Legends player named Crumbz. He was a jungler and he was good because he kept track of jungle camp times so his pathing was really efficient. Now jungle camp timers are displayed on your map and he quit the game.
Nail on the head. On all fronts. Ranked 2.0, the game modes, 1.5x scope, the TDM meta, ping 2.0... this game has had so many big changes that have had a negative effect on the game in so many ways. From what the devs shared at SI about Year 9, I have high hopes that maybe, just maybe we will see a return to form in some of the most important aspects of the game. People complained about "wheres the new content?!" And honestly, those people are so near sighted, its not even funny. Clearly Ubisoft is utilizing Y9 as a "operation Health" of sorts and i hope to god they ride out the storm. if it means all the COD bros leave the game because the movement is too slow, etc, so be it. I want what the game was always meant to be-- the lightning in the bottle FPS game we know and love. Lets hope and pray they dont mess this up. RIP KIXSTAR❤😢

Fantastic video man definitely earned a sub. Made me realize the game really has lost a lot of its seriousness and I miss it. However like you said looks like the game is trending up and because of that im sure kixx is smiling.
Lol we're not friends that was actually the first time we spoke. The interview was originally for this video but the move to talon was announced the day before we sat down so i expanded the interview to include that and made it its own separate video. Although he did help me get in touch with bikini
10:00 Speaking on this point. I never truly hit diamond on PC. I was really close in Vector glare but ended up sitting 200 elo off it. When Ranked 2.0 came I hit Champ within 102 games. I keep hitting Diamond 1 and 2 every season now but ranked just has nearly no meaning to me now. I care about winning sure but I don't strive to hit Diamond or any other rank for that matter anymore. Talked to Kaosx about it and he said to set goal hitting champ top 100 but that's never gonna happen. I'm good but I'm not that good as playing against pros that has a 70+ W/L at 400 games , then setting a goal to hit top 1000 just seems meaningless. I just want it to be a competition to hit a rank and not a number. Example for old ranked: We're down 2-3 ''come on boys lets go one more round then we can win the entire thing'' ''Lock in lock in!!!'' Example for new ranked: We're down 2-3 ''eh fuck it! chalk it! We only lose 8 elo anyways let's just go next game these guys are too hard'' ''cba asked to play this lets just throw'' ''We'll get 12x the elo next game if we win, this game has no meaning'' Idk if I have improved to a point where I could be counted on as a Diamond in old ranked system? idk if I have improved? I average the same KD and my WL is lower now because I just don't care
You made a great point that I should have touched on, in the new system I can’t tell if I’ve improved, I think the meta has improved my aim but as an overall player? Unsure. And that really says alot
One thing about Mirage which absolutely blows my mind is: Do you guys remember Nora Rengo? They didn’t pay the players and just held on to that money. And they’ve been banned from pro league fairly quickly and not only for a region. How come this doesn’t apply to Mirage?!? You start questioning what’s going on behind the scenes between Ubisoft and that Org….
@ironiq1990 figured I’d read into it to make sure I wasn’t lying to you, and it turns out we were both right. The coach was the owner of Nora rengu! He also did some less savory things than not paying players apparently although I don’t see any official charges brought forward, but I don’t know Japanese so 🤷🏽♂️
am i having a fever dream or was lion and finka supposed to be for pve only i.e outbreak and they were going to release separate pvp operators that during operation chimera

siege ended when the dev team left at end of year 4- siege 2 was a woke pandering fest where it was more important having operators being confused about their gender with a see though shield than fixing the game. siege 2 is trash. siege was amazing.
The new dev team certainly had a vision that wasn't in any way related to what made siege great from a gameplay and balance perspective, but i'm never going to let cosmetics hurt my feelings

That situation was slightly different. It was actually Nora rengus coach who stole all the money directly not the org. Still insane all around

I know the devs acknowledged they were designed around pvp, but they never stated whether there was other ops planned

If I do an update on siege next year I’ll reach out to these other creators the way I did with Fabian/Bikini in this video for sure!
