Jwittz, it's obvious, this is how Toads are born, and as Royalty, it's Peach's duty to watch over them as a caring and loving figure.
That or these are the Kingdom's crops and she's comforting them before they are forcefully ripped from their home and cooked in boiling pots of broth until being served as a nice, warm, tasty soup.

It's an archosaur with its hips structured so that its leg stick out directly underneath it....it's probably much more complex than that, but that's the general idea.

You know, I always pictured the Mushroom Kingdom as the happiest place on Earth. A place without any cares or concerns, where you can play golf even with your biggest enemies or invite them to your kart race. But the implication that the Holocaust happened in the happy-go-lucky Mario universe is simply unsettling to me.

The "which dinosaur could fly" card is strange because on one hand it's really clever and correctly teaches kids that pterodactyls aren't dinosaurs, but on the other hand the idea that no dinosaurs could fly is outdated now considering the closer links between birds and dinosaurs discovered over the years

Fun fact: this means the one of the fastest living animals to ever live on earth is a Dinosaur that can fly, whose main food source is other dinosaurs that can also fly
At best they are a close relative but not an actual dinosaur since they contradict at least several things about reptiles like being warm blooded an d having a four chambered heart.
You've been working on your delivery and editing haven't you? Your content has always been witty, informative, fun (I could go on), but particularly this episode and the F-Zero episode have a different kind of flavour. A more comedic change of pace. Wow! I was gonna call out that "flying dinosaur" one as a trick question since pterodactyls aren't actually dinosaurs, but the game beat me to it! I am legitimately surprised that something from the nineties got that one right, because even today that doesn't seem to be very common knowledge.

Holy crap I remember those! I used to trace the pictures of Mario in various poses and outfits onto paper to make my own scenarios. I vividly remember one that showed Mario in medieval armor kneeling before Peach, it was my favorite card because I just liked how Mario in armor looked.

I can't believe this video is three years old, I've been wondering about this product since I was three. I have ZERO idea what happened to it, but I do recall having too many cards for the box made to store them.
4:57 Although heavily outdated (given the nature of these cards), that Spinosaurus art looks really nice.
My sister had all the Horrible History cards back in the day. you had a starter pack then with every magazine you bought you got more cards but never the same ones as the ones you already had, so was really easy to complete the set. after the first couple of issues, the shop would stop selling them and you had to get them via subscription/ order online.
around the time my sister moved out, my dad auctioned of the collection on eBay, and it gathered a huge interest. the winner was some guy from Germany who bid over £300 for the set. WOW!
"Really-nervous-looking-Government Mario" was a real thing... kinda. A commercial for Super Mario All-Stars jokes that you can see "Mario negotiating an arms deal!"

What's funny is that technically there *ARE* flying dinosaurs, although that could just be the fact that we didn't really know birds were theropods until later on.
Birds are not dinosaurs are they related to them in some ways yes but since they contradict what is a reptile like being warm blooded and having a four chambered heart at best birds as a close relative but not close enough to be an actual dinosaur.

As a kid, I owned Mario is Missing, but 6 or 7 year old me wasn't old enough to read and understand the game (nor did I think a MARIO game would be like that as a kid). I would LOVE IT if you do a video where you a little more in depth on it. Been a fan for a long time, and I vicariously play Pokemon through your channel! Keep up the good work.
