Just wondering could you flip the mount 180 so instead of it falling down it would hang and u could tilt it up if needed. Could even do dramatic selfie shots like that uknow
Hi did you manage to get this to work after?want to go down this route as I just bought the new iPhone 14 pro with action mode and don’t want to spend out on a go pro
I appreciate you taking us on this journey. Certainly a learning experience. Have you considered mounting it in your crotch/belt area? I'm sure we could fab up a belt buckle that has a flush mount spot and will hold it solid.
Instead of using a chest or head mount, I'm looking for an arca swiss mount to hook onto a camera backpack strap mount like the peak design Capture. Might justhave to get a cheap case and glue an arca swiss mount to it. Any thoughts?
Right. The secret to that is to buy some decent ALUMINUM GoPro parts (after market) which are way better quality. Those parts are like literally a quarter or so. The good ones are about a buck. UN-fortunately you'll have to spend to buy a minimum quantity to get them for that. But hey - when your daddy was a shop mechanic and you've been repairing cars with him since the age of 7 - you'd appreciate what a fn mess it is. I like parts boxes for my camera pieces - I have four of them.
this is probably what i will end up doing, i bought this product and was very disappointed when i tightened that thing so much and did a little hop jusst to see how it felt and if it was tight enough and it went all the way down. do i need compression washers? what kind of benefit woudl it give you think
i bought this and your idea is a great idea, and it ALMOST works but to get the holes to line up, you need the phone mount piece to be angled downwards slightly. if you could file down some of that plastic it may work just fine but i am just going to try teflon tape all over the tightening screw piece thing. if this doesnt work i will use loctite

I had the same problem, exactly the same piece of equipment he’s using tightened it with a screwdriver and it never went down ever again
You need to tighten the screw with an actual screwdriver. Once i did that it never fell down anymore

Hmmm that’s a decent idea. I think the belt angle is almost better than the chest. All I need to do is figure out a mount 🤔🤔

What could I use instead?
Try a Ordro cam .....

Hi do you have any recommendations?
Damn I was hoping that this would be an easy option solution
Will it attach my goPro?
I understand this is bad, but what is good?
blue/red locktight and compression washers will work for you

its about your angle man. but the shot is pretty crisp
Ahhh dude i been having the same issue with mine lol
Do the insta360
dip it in gorilla glue lol
U just got the wrong one bud
I really hate pov. Even with a $400 GoPro hero 10 it still just looks better with a tripod or a Friend who can film you.
I like watching myself in pov but I don’t like watching other people pov 😂 what do you think about the shots that make it look 3rd person
@@Dougsterbob , you like watching yrself but not other ppl in pov? Ha ha. Very funny.
Mount it upside down

Kesinlikle
Shouldn't it be POV, not POS?
no because pov stands for point of view and pos stands for piece of shit and hes calling the product a piece of shit
