I have recently lost my passion for film and editing. I have fallen into a depression the last few years. I lost my job with a great team with passionate and talented individuals... I was really good at what I did when I did work in the industry... Then COVID hit and we all lost our jobs. I had to start ALL OVER. I got really depressed all my contacts and people that paid me. Gone. A few years has passed and now I am faced with an opportunity to film advertisements for a great company. This video in particular helped me find my passion again. Thank you so much. I was looking for motivation and this video helped me so much with that. Thank you for sharing this!
he definitely have creative skills but the chef was so determined and focused kudos to him..... his expressions tells a million tales of the heights he wanted to take the company
Yes.. exactly my thoughts.. so many takes and the shooting scenes video made me think it will be wow.. but it was like ... Huh???? The making of the video was much better
These types of exaggerated camera movements with too loud fake swoosh sound effects type videos are going to age as well as the video effects from the 1980s. Looks cool now. Looks aweful in a couple years. But it doesn’t really matter since this is probably going on the disposable content platform TikTok. I for one can’t wait for the “Reacting to my old cringey bad video style!” that the channel will upload in 3 years.
Exactly, shooting is easier when compared to editing.... That's what I'm gonna try and tackle when I start my own channel.. I'll definitely be willing to hit you up, if you're interested 😅😅😅
Actually editing is the easiest.. But that also depends on what type of product videos you are doing. With a small budget like this the filming is simple! On a bigger budget with a bigger client you need the lighting to be perfect, the environment, the food and so on and so forth.
It’s for social media and this guy just isn’t all that great of a RUclipsr tbh. Much better people doing what he does that actually talk about what’s going on and give real insight
The pizza chef was so patient with this 🙏🏻 Nice work 👍🏻 I did think this could have benefited with a slow-mo close-up shot of the pizza at the end 🍕🤔 From a consumer perspective, that would have been mouth watering lol
Perfect example of someone seeing a tutorial on tiktok and tries it on their client for the first time haha I can understand why he put the results at the very end. If he had put it at the beginning would have not sat there and watched this
Almost Everyone here is giving this guy negative reviews because they “ expected something better “ grow up! He probably isn’t a millionaire and can’t spend thousands of dollars in better cameras. If you commented about being dissatisfied, you try it! It’s not as easy as it looks. This man did an amazing job for a small creator and you should support that! If you see an issue, send him an email or something so he can improve! Don’t spread more hate, end it!
Very cool and creative ideas. You are really talented! Ppl in the negative commetns saying it is too short and only 4 shots and doesnt look like commercial just obviously didnt understand that is meant for soc media... For that kind of platform it is a great piece. Like.
As a creator's perspective. The creativity is great! Transitions were smooth And the sound effects was excellent! On the other hand (business side) For a commercial They could make this video even more better by: Adding emotions They could let someone have a bite So the audience would also know How good the pizza is. That's my 2 cents and it's a great video!
This just assists my dads view that his phone camera is "just as good" as my $3000 camera. Nowadays everyone thinks they're a photographer or videographer with their phone just because it can take photo and video. It just makes it harder for professionals to charge properly for their work because its undervalued.
Well hey gear doesn't always equal quality. But if you can just justify your quality with your gear, you'd get the right clients nonetheless. Not everyone is your client. So I'd say to focus on creating quality for the right type of clients you're looking to attract and don't worry about everyone else using their phone cameras 😂. Photographers (professionals) will ALWAYS be needed.
Sorry to say that, but you suck and will continue to do so, untill you change your mind. I just saw your main video and it proves my point. Photography is an art, it's about taking best shots and creating a story with it. Not taking the same shot with a better camera and editing it with software. You messed up artists and pro's. No wonder, that value goes down, because the cost of making shots is now getting less everyday. I know few artists who don't care if it's a phone camera or palaroid or pro one and a lot of clowns with three bags of equipment, that only get invited to weddings or some shitty parties.
what matter is the end result and its quality, doesn’t matter if its a camera phone or a high end dslr. even more now that phone cameras are really catching up with 5yo dslrs if you think your work is better just because your camera is better and not just because of the quality overall, then you are doing wrong
I actually love this!!!! More and more photographers are getting into iPhone photography, filmmaking and commercials!!! I am one of those iPhone photographers!
Very nice tips here! I like how you recorded the natural sounds from the sauce, the cheese falling etc. Excellent work knowing that you used your phone here!
MIGHT I SAY… that was simply delighting!!! So glad I came across your video. Start my business last December and photo shooting had become my life and I am now trying to start making video commercials as well. This video was super 🔥🔥🔥🔥. I thought I was taking lots of shoots , but after see you I know it take a lot sometimes to get the perfect shoot. Thanks again for allowing us in your personal space
Literally, Kyle, Your Movements and audio tactics are awesome, I just started my career in filmmaking not actually filmmaking Actually I'm interested in your commercial ad shoots, And I say try to upload once a week or month like this, Also I am going to buy 14 day filmmaking short course, And the important thing that I noticed you proved me that for commercial ads, there is no so much gear is required, with phone, lighting, movement, audio, and editing is the process I learned from this commercial ad Thanks Kyle for such video I consume this video as training not as commercial shoot
Nothing too surprising nowadays, since iPhones are getting closer every year to DSLRs in general. However I still bow to you, as you are good enough to successfully make certain thing with iPhone that some people can't even do with their DSLR.
Amazing. Did not thought it would turn out that better. The last shot looked a bit too saturated, which made the pizza looked overcooked to me. Though it could be my laptop display issue. Great Video. Loved it

Looks awful. Like a bad tik tok.
I hope the person who paid for this wasn’t as disappointed as I was with the result.

I searched for this comment
This shows the actual hard work that goes behind any artistic work.......it takes a lot of patience.
Why not film horizontally? Would have felt more like a commercial.
It's a social media think 🙂
probably going to tiktok or instagram ad so being vertical would fit better

If only it wasn't filmed in portrait mode
How could he!.... Totally agree, it's a nonsense
If it's for social media, it needs to be in portrait mode.
