Thanks for this video. The wife picked this up for me this past weekend. I usually do just Gunpla stuff, and I've done the Boba model there, but this looks like far far more of a challenge to me.
Hi There! I think you'll be fine. Just takes some patience and getting use to, and since you've done Ganpla stuff, you have some sort of idea/practice. Just take it slow, one step at a time because the small metal pieces can be a bit finicky. Good Luck and have fun!
@@maxumus1019 oh bummer. That may happen a lot because the insert tabs and sections with the bending seams are extra delicate. I would say shape the piece as it should be and use a bit of Krazy glue to stick the piece back on. Be careful with the insert tabs too. Once they go, it's not coming back and then you may have to start gluing pieces on to secure them together.
How did you fix his legs? You had his upper quads backwards when you set both legs to the stand, but then it was correct by the time you started building the belts and up? Did you actually take it apart without destroying it? Or just buy a whole new one?
Hey!! Very observant! So I think the reason why this one took me longer than I'd like is because I ran into a couple of issues. One was trying to attach the final arm to the body and the other was what you saw, his upper quads/leg pack. I think I noticed that there was an issue just in time before attaching the upper body. So to correct this, off cam, I was able to carefully/painfully undo the lower portion, pretty much piece by piece, ensuring to straighten out the tabs without breaking them so I could be able detach and then reattach correctly but very carefully. Because the tabs started to become weak after undoing and straightening them. Luckily it worked out ok, nothing broke and was to reattach it.
So I bought one of these exact models, however two of the sheets are completely identical. Is that how it is supposed to be or did i get one that was packaged wrong?
Hi! That is very strange! I have not had that issue. You should have (3) different Sheets, A, B & C as indicated on the instruction/guide. That's a real bummer.
I've done several of these...just bought this one...the funny thing about these models...you either love them, or hate them. How many hours did you spend on this guy?
@@xbpbat21x Haha yeah, took me about 7 to 8 hours to complete. One of the arms was giving me trouble to install and just ALOT of little parts shape/install, but was fun to do!! Yeah, I do see what you mean about some of the models. But I do really enjoy the newer premium series ones as well as some of the newer airplane/vehicle model ones because of how they turn out and all the colors/details. I have a lot of them to do in 2021, and just pre-ordered a few new models, so I am excited to get to them and hope you can check out! Nice Wrangler by the way!! I still have to do my Willys MB Overland Jeep metal earth model!
@@xanadoo6839 I agree...i bought the construction series, then had to buy them again because they released them in color. I've done most of the star wars stuff and a few of the airplanes. I enjoy them. I find it relaxing and challenging at the same time. I'm always hunting around the house for the right shape to bend the pieces around!🤣 I love my jeep and plan on doing some overlanding this summer! Keep up the great videos!
Thanks! I will definitely make note of this for my next video! I just have to figure out to best way to show this especially because the tabs and holes are tiny! But I will definitely slow it down and work to make the upcoming one better!
Hey there, I'm building this model and am having trouble with the tip of the jetpack's missile. To my dismay, you finished attaching the head, the in the next frame you had a complete jetpack. The difficult parts are what you should explain, not cut out of the video entirely. Too bad I gotta look for another video now....

Wow!! Very difficult puzzle. You did it. Awesome 👌
Just found this kit at my friends house I'm new to this metal kit building so here's hoping this turns out well
Good luck! Message me if you run into any issues.

Good video, but you need to slow down and show how the tabs fit together.
