- Every day I get up and head to work there is just no telling what I am going to experience. It's the dynamics of what I do that keeps it interesting. Each assignment is a blank canvas that unfolds in real time with all the twists and turns of life.
We also see the loading of the Repo Stallion as we say goodbye to an awesome truck that gave us years of great service. On to the next thing...
I just came across this channel by mistake and now I have spent three days watching most of your videos!!!
I found the channel last night and watched a few videos, but today i've been watching them for like 12 hours
I also just found Matt & Im hooked! I really appreciate the respect he has & how he can defuse most situations :-)
Same here. he's a pretty cool guy in some fuckked up shit sometimes but he's got skills.
Same story here...found this about 4 days ago and haven't seen much of anything else since lol.
Must be contagious. I did the same thing last year! This is one of the few I missed.
Those mountains are beautiful
What a sad story of the woman hit by the truck. Single mom of three girls. Hope they can get through and live happy productive lives.
Finally a REAL reality show. These are pretty interesting.
Ever heard of Operation Repo? Its the real deal! /s
my condolences to the family of that lady and I hope the driver of the truck finds some kind of peace and comfort too. also saying goodbye to the repo stallion takes me back to when I had to part ways with my 2001 f350 because it was hit and totaled beyond fixing but I bought it back from the insurance company and sold it to a farmer to give a dying f350 a heart transplant so in all, it was worth the loss
Great respect from you and the finance company for using consideration for the loss. It is a real boost for the public to see that those who do the repo work actually have a heart.
Much love brother.
Good bye stallion. It's 2018 and you are still missed!!
2019 here, still missing the stallion
2020 and still missed
I could have sworn I seen this one come into the Home Depot D.C. in Ogden UT last year and do a repo. Did Matt replace it with another crew cab
@@randybrechbiel9748 Matt's been out of repo for a while.
Nice to see the old truck being put to more use!
There are MANY of us that are sad to see the Black Beast go. Thanks for sharing the video.
This hit hard that’s down the road from my house and i remember that happening
That was a really nice truck! Whoever is getting it is lucky!
Nice of you to offer the VW to the guy working on it, that is why I like you, you have a heart.
***** Yea I know that, thanks for telling me the obvious. I have a pretty good idea of how it works, having had a few car loans.
***** Use a bit of common sense now, he explained it in the video.
***** First thing moron, I do not have a video on this channel, second, matt explained how the woman had insurance so the vehicle would be paid off in the event something happened to her. Don't act like you are some. You need to get your facts straight before trying to insult someone, I don't have a cat, much less a video of one giving messages. Looks like the joke is on you cupcake. Oh, remember you started this boy, I did not ask for your two cents Mr. Obvious, nor do I need it. Now run along playtime is over.
***** Well, I suppose you put the gloves back on, just wanted to recommend some ointment for that burn.
Your a good man matt
No more cold winters for the faithful Black Stallion.
If you know the movie Leon The Professional, there is a scene called FATMAN. Where Leon, who is an assassin, shoots his way through a bunch of bodyguards etc. He comes up behind the FATMAN and with a knife to his throat, hands him a phone.......once the call is through, he just vanishes. Much like you did with this Del Sol. Very Professional
I will be sure to keep my eyes peeled and see if I spot the old truck down here! I live just outside of Dallas. That would be cool to see the old RepoNut truck! The star of many awesome videos
What a sad situation with the lady who had the VW Beetle. I liked the way the finance company and you handled it, however. Sad when stuff like that happens.
anyone else look foward to thes videos being posted like me?
and wow didn't expect that!
Gee! Wish I had found these vids back then. Would have gladly purchased it off you n imported to NZ for our fleet breakdown service. These are stupid money here without the lift. Compliance may have been difficult but not impossible.
Keep on doing what you are doing.. Don't let any neg comments get to ya.. I for one think you are great and you do a great job. You are a good guy and I respect the hell out of you.
That's really nice of Matt to do about the title thing for the car.
I have gone through many Hunting Dogs in my life. Some through attrition, old age, accidents and breeding agreements. When it was time for them to go, it was time.
My Mom taught me to never "Love" anything, that could not Love you back.
Goodbye ole Truck. Ya done good but you have been replaced. Thanks for the good service, but now, you are on to a new home and with the proceeds of your sale, I am on to changes as well. Adios !
Congrats on the sale of the 250 :D Sound system sounded good on the gopro!
I hate to learn of your financial struggle, & changes in your life. You are a true Pro & will get things turned around. All the best to you and yours.
Goodbye f250 it's been fun.
Keep up the good work!
The best part of watching these videos is after 6 years of car payments I don't have to worry about getting my car repoed.
Great episode.. even better no talking about trolls anymore..lol
You are a good soul offering to do that.
this was probably a really hard video to reflect on. Good job, good videos. i couldn't imagine showing up somewhere ready to repo a car and finding out that the debtor died the day before
Too bad you had to get rid of her. I loved that old f250.
The '99 Fords are a helluva truck, my company has a F-550 Rollback. I'd probably cry if we sold that old girl 15 Years old and only 186k. Shes not even broke in yet. haha
yea with the cummins
Good vid man.
WoW She was young! so sad! 3 daughters, I hope they are doing well!
thanks for the videos Matt from New Zealand
Great video Matt! Not sure if congrats is the right word for selling the F250.. but congrats. Maybe I'll see it around some though, I live near Dallas.
I see you were jamming out one last time! But that F250 is so beautiful..
Jacob Lord
This was weird to watch. My mom was hit and killed walking to work a year after this was filmed on Jan 30th 2015 on university Blvd in provo at 7 am... My heart goes out to all the parties involved.
Down Town
Sorry to hear that.
I'm glad i subbed you when i did, love the vids Matt.
Am I the only one wanting to know what happened to the goody bag left in the f250 I so want to know what was in that bag lol
I may see your old truck wandering around the Dallas area. Depends where it's primarily going to operate.
I love how a lot of these people who can't afford to keep the car have aftermarket rims put on. Strange mindset...
You should pay for your toys before you play with your toys. That's how I look at it.
Not that hard to buy rims for $150.00 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
@@johndoe-nx8mq 😂😂😂😂😂
I made an identical comment before reading yours 😂😂
I'll keep an eye out for your F250 over the next couple of months. I live in a small suburb outside of Dallas.
Selling your old truck: I know the feeling! I had an 02 F450 for a work truck. Put 330,000 on her in about 3.5 years. Was sad to see that one go, but I changed jobs and made my situation much better.
gonna miss watching the old f250 picking up cars….but I can see the self loader is the way to go
Man your video sure are interesting. Thank you for going through all that work. And your job is very interesting too. Much respect dude! I like how you treat people with dignity man that makes a difference.
So sorry and sad about the lady who was struck and killed RIP!
It will be okay Matt
I would have loved to have that truck just for the sound system WOW.
Hey Matt,
You should move down here to Texas. Maybe you could buy back the old Stallion and have you a 2-truck operation. There is more than enough business in the Metroplex to keep you busy 24-7.
I have to admire someone who can do the job you do and not take advantage of "easy" situations where you could cross the line and get it done quicker and maybe easier.
I worked collections for a major lease-to-own company in the Metroplex and hated going out with the other guys in the office. 9 times out of 10 I would get payments when I went out alone. But, most of the other guys would demand the merchandise. More than once, I was terrified that we were fixing to get killed or arrested. One of them had a habit of taking stuff just to "get our money back" if he was "pretty sure" no one was home. One of those times, he stole a bunch of stuff that had nothing to do with the company we worked for from a house that was obviously not where the debtors were living. That was the last straw for me. I told him I would rather go into the worst parts of the area on my own rather than go ANYWHERE with him.
Wasn't too much longer before he and the main manager of that store were arrested for theft, fraud and embezzlement of company funds and property.
Always better to stay on the right side of the law, makes life a lot nicer.
Glad you sold it hate to see it go kinda miss the element of surprise but like the very efficient new rig
Sad day in the utah man she did a lot of towing and videos with you.She is going where nice and warm.
The quick development was already that way in the 90s. I worked at a computer shop back then, and whenever a customer that had just bought a brand new PC asked me "How long is this going to be up to date?" I always told them: Until you've left this store, then they'll have come up with something new again. And it's still like that today.
This is a good video, but I thought you were going to show the aftermath of the private party repo in video 530. ???
True...... don't hang up on the loan officer. I got 2mos. behind on my loan due to a lay-off. But I communicated with the lender and they deferred the 2 payments to the end of the loan. I went back to work, got it paid off and all was good. The repo truck only comes as a last resort. Lender would rather work with borrower is at all possible.
My first thought to what he said was “bro, watch her walk out the front door”, and then that girl walked out and I thought you caught him in the worlds shittiest, most unacceptable lie. But it was actually true. That’s wild man
Awh she really did die too. Rosa Marino, she leaves behind 3 young daughters. Wow, so terrible.
That would've idled right up in low, but I supposed if it's a lever transfercase, those can be kind of a pain when you bind up the drive line.
How did you read that whole article without stopping while driving???
ah, wow , my first spotting of a 'hot shotter' . you certainly don't see those in Australia. You could only haul that much with a cummins though.
How are you liking that new ford? Im trying to catch up with your videos! i used to watch them literally every day through out the night xD since i work 3rd shift. Your videos have come a long way stay safe matt!
man backend of you tow truck went down when you lift up that taho truck .I would be scared to if a big stocky man come and tow my car away lol
that went south fast!
I was working at Provo PD the day that the lady was hit by the truck. That is sad knowing more of the details of that vehicle v. pedestrian accident. very sad
Matt Bro Sadd To See The Ol Repo Truck Go
What truck is that, and with what installed? I would like a truck like that, hidden tow and all. What did you pay for it all? Is there a place to buy one with a hidden tow pre-installed?
Wow I live NW of Ft Worth! Maybe ill see the ol' girl around (but hopefully not in a professional capacity)
Was it an option to keep the truck and put a self-loader lift on it get rid of the bed and turn it into like the truck you have now.
RepoNut Matt I learned long ago if you love something let it go it'll come back so maybe your old truck will eventually be back on your fleet :) but honestly I am 17 it would be hard for me to get rid my first car which I got a couple months ago when my mom got her new car I got her 2007 Nissan sentra it's silver with about 145,000 miles and I love vehicles too I know how you feel about your truck
Matt, if you don't mind my asking, what do you get paid for an "aggressive door-knock"? I know it wouldn't be a full tow, but a percentage?
How many dolly set-ups and tires do you go through in a year? With more all-wheel-drive cars on the road has your costs increased over the years?
Classic U Ship shipper!
Do you use the Rammount laptop mount? looks like it.. I have that same one installed in my Ridgeline, along withe the viper 5906v remote start with smart start gps tracking, etc. I like the rammout for my laptop.. nice stand.
I only use RAMmounts. They are by far the best and most sturdy.
It would be neat to see your old truck around town. I live in Dallas, any chance you know which city it is going to? Great videos man!
North west of FW is all I can say.
Matt, I have to ask.... when leaving, was there at least a small tear? Or no comment? ... When you put a lot of work into something that beautiful, there has gotta be a some sort of water forming... haha!
what kind of system did you have in the F250 ? thanks
Sir, do you get paid a flat rate or by the pick up? Not trying to be nosy just curious about how things work.
Thanks for eh cool videos!
From another video it sounded like approx $225 a repo. Sometimes less for more frequent finance companies.
Did you make a deal with the dude in Texas, to start videotaping his repos? :-D
what kind of head cam is that ? Go Pro ? Does a good job
Congratulations on the sale of the truck! Good to see it live on, did you tell the new owner that they can see it in operation on youtube? B-)
He knows of it because of my channel. He has been an avid follower for some time. Not sure what his username is on here but he is here somewhere.
RepoNut
Cool, even better. I wasn't sure if it was a non tech savvy person that just got lucky and found a good deal. I was surprised it didn't sell earlier at that price.
Could you make a video on your every day vehicle?
Reponut we need an update on your well being
He's in prison.
@@fieryvixen6486 Are you serious ? what happened ? ive been watching these videos for a long time and wondered about how or what he is doing now.
@@howtocreatesculptures6713 He was arrested 4 times last year on a number of theft charges. I don't know how long he will be incarcerated though.
@@fieryvixen6486 WOW thanks man , too bad : (
@DrScopeify Yes i am sure he can get it back together , its not easy losing the love of your life and everybody makes mistakes in this life.
Thinking of it now. You should of kept it for your school.
What song was that called in the f250
can't kill the old 7.3s
It's good to check on her apparent death. My brother was avoiding collections and he found an easy way out....... When the guy called my brother said in despair..." Bob was electrocutted to death " It worked so always check the reported death.
lmfao
I heard about that accident in Provo. Left behind kids. Sad.
That is so sad that she died...
I didn't know you should sold the truck.
Did anyone else laugh when he picked up the front hood of a bug and said the engine's gone?
Those new beetles have the engine in front.
Our Family The newest ones. I don't think this one counts. I could be wrong though. Not worth researching. :p
He said it was a 1999, if your having a old rear engine air cooled beetle repoed you have some real problems.
Can you not see all the parts that go along with the engine there too? If the engine was in the back the front wouldn't look like that.
I also laughed but then I remembered the new VWs are front engine.
I know how you fell 😢
Utah looks like a giant Sunnyvale Trailer Park.
All pluses on selling the old girl, money in your pocket, a good truck put back to use, and it's not being used to complete with you in your area.
Can you give us an update on your Great Wife?
Your family remains in my thoughts!!
I actually bought the truck from a competitor here in Utah but I don't treat other recovery companies as competition simply because the lenders I work for are committed to me so it's like being a shark in a very big ocean and none of the other sharks are after the same fish as me. I avoid stealing business from other companies and they respect that and do the same for me. Shanda is very sick right now and going through the worst of her Chemo treatments. It's called FULFOX for anyone who wants to Google it...
y did u sell it if u love it
Yeah it is a bit depressing selling the old truck but the new owner has bought something thats well proven and reliable and should get a good run out of it. And yes that vw the timing was, how can i put it, um! unfortunate! take care - Andrew
sad to see the old truck go
I'm NEVER calling em' piggy back rides again!
Sad ending
The Honda Del Sol is a type of Civic. The vehicle type was technically not wrong.
Wow I can't believe tow drivers deal with client drama.
