Bought a new 2022 in Gray. I'm 225lbs & increased tire pressure to 30psi, added an E3 .38 spark plug, pegs, under seat bag, front barrel bag, reduced oil to 7/8 full (Honda had an overfill), phone mount, rear carrier & am top speed at 42mph. 1st tank was 110mpg. Will be adding street tires & a stage 1 kit after Warranty expires. Anticipate 48/49mph. This is my around town Scoot. I have an HD Ultra Classic now so am covered for highway use. Just got where I hated riding the Harley around town short trips. The Rukus is just fun.
I got a 2022 in Grey this summer too. Did a Trail Tach tachometer, pegs, mirrors, the under seat bag, LED headlight bulbs, usb charger socket, alarm and exhaust. By far the headlights made a huge difference. I took the exhaust off after 3 days, to loud.
That’s awesome and those seem like the exact things I plan on doing to my ruckus as well I actually just got my under seat bag I’ll probably make a video on it and ive been looking at new headlights those are probably next for me!!
I have a 2019 ruckus I spend a few weeks tuning my ruckus with the polini vareator with the polini 5.6 gram rollers gets up to over 45. On a good day with no wind in my face I can do 48. I learned that with a fresh new belt it takes a while to brake in. So I run used belt with over 500 miles on it. In the winter I'll ride with new belt so it ware down to ware I like it buy ride season.
I just got a 2022 last month. Top speed on my completely stock Ruck is 38. Had it up to 39 twice and 40 once. My goal is 50 mph. Just so I can get rid of tailgaters!
Ive ridden my sister in laws Honda 110cc Zoomer in Thailand and gotten up up past 55 mph and I weigh 270 lbs (I was 305 a year ago). I also made sure the tires were aired up properly.
Probably had to for the carb. I checked one out at a dealer and I had to “start it” two or three before it actually stayed running because it had been sitting in the dealer for months.
@@jackrickman people say your legs will hit the bar but that was never an issue for me. Only in really tight spaces like at a parking lot, usually I just put out my leg if I need to make a tight turn.

If I see a dude who is like 30+ he doesn't need suggestions, but these young kids are often more reckless and don't understand they can ruin or end their life.

I was cruising around 35 on mine , hit a pothole now I can do 44.
Holy shit what a best case scenario I’m jealous lol just don’t hit anymore friend !
@@rope30x I hit a pothole but instead of a speed increase, I got this nice, new, big shiny lump instead!
@@devildog65 😂😂
lol, looks like your speedo is off after that pot hole
🤣🤙

Where did you get the usb charger socket ?
So you replaced just the bulbs or did you change out the whole headlight?
@@devildog65 just the bulb. Had to trim some of the rubber boots back.

Using a phone mount and waze for gps speedo I got my 2022 to 42 on a flat road. Less than 100 miles on the engine.
Damn man that’s awesome that seems about what I’m getting too!!🙌

Mph or km/h?
All you need is a bottle give it a little squirt of nitrous once in awhile😁
My Navi will only do 45 top speed and it’s a 109 cc motor ! Something doesn’t make sense to me

Was there a reason you hit the start button like 4 times after it was started after the first time?
Probably had to for the carb. I checked one out at a dealer and I had to “start it” two or three before it actually stayed running because it had been sitting in the dealer for months.
Where can we buy Honda Ruckus 50cc in the Philippines???
I'd rather see a better view of the road
Wondering why these are faster than the Honda Metro. I assumed they had the same engine.
Yeah it seems like they’re like 5mph faster. 🤔
Either weight or gearing then
This is geared slightly for torque and the metro for acceleration
They do both use the same engine.
The Ruckus is lighter and has a lot fewer unnecessary items.
It's like a skeleton Metro.
Was it difficult to breathe at those speeds. . ?
if one want to ride without a helmet with face shield.. recommend something over mouth. Bees are not very friendly after hitting you.
🤣
How tall are you? Cause I feel like I might be too tall for the ruckus lol
I’m about 6 feet tall
Im 6'2 and I fit well on the ruckus
@@Impisak wow almost same as me, I wanna try to ride one before I commit but that definitely gives me confidence

I'm 6 2 and with foot pegs you can stretch your legs out to ride comfortably.
They are only 193lb and reliable
My Honda Navi can barely gets up to 53 mph.
police explorer??????
What is 43, miles or kms?
MPH
My stock 2015 Yamaha Zuma 50 will get over 50 on flat ground
You've got to dress for the slide, not for the ride. Flip flops and shorts?
That’s some painful roadrash
Its a summer vehicle.. Helmet and boardshorts is all I wear too, sometimes just the helmet.
It's a free country bro.
True, it's a free country, I just don't want to see anyone become raw hamburger meat on the pavement.😒

You definitely need to adjust your camera. We want to see the scenery, not your legs!!😅
Speak for yourself 😂
Stop running stop signs. You will live longer…
He will live don't be a karen
I heard of that 😂
Nice leg... LOL
