As a Falcons fan I appreciate this tribute, you should’ve also include the 24-0 lead we blew in the NFC Conference Championshop to the 9ers
im a ravens fan so i remember that day. thrashing the patriots in the second half while the 49ers thrashed you in the second half
CapvianStudios yeah most of my fam are ravens fan so you don’t know how badly I wanted a Falcons vs Ravens SB
Go pats
The game was never 24-0, the worst that it got was 17- 0 in the first half.....
Jim Rowell oh I thought it was 24-0 but yeah it was bad

I expect a 28-3 joke
Even though I hate both of those teams it's still hilarious xD
Is that not why you're here?
I watched that Bills-Oilers comeback on NBC when it happened live. I was a kid and back then I always watched the whole game, even if it was a rout, so I didn't even think about quitting on watching it. And then the Bills just fired back so efficiently that the ridiculous comeback almost seemed reasonable. I also remember Bob Costas and the NBC studio crew openly apologizing to the Bills in the post-game for declaring at halftime that their game was over. It was all something surreal.
Steven Gomez I was a kid back then to. I remember being in shock by what I seen.
I was around 21 years old when I watched the greatest comeback ever , IMO . I remember thinking this game was completely over ........ Then it happened and it was amazing to watch .
I was in middle school when I saw it. Damn Jehovah's Witnesses came to the door and I had to get rid of them before I missed the comeback. "No, I don't want a fucking Watchtower. The Bills just scored 5 TD's in a row. Go away!"
I saw the game too. I was a sophomore in college at the time, and it was a game that had to be seen to be believed. It was just so unreal, as most of us (not just NBC) thought Houston had won it by halftime only to have Buffalo pick them apart in the second half.
wait, the falcons lost that game?! i turned it off in the third quarter....
I no joke fell asleep at halftime satisfied
As a Vikings fan i didn't care who won, I kinda wanted New England to win because of 1998. and, well, they did lol
@@ohmydog9171 LMAO
Lesson learned the game isn’t over until the timer runs out
I was shocked by how narrow the Jaguar's blown lead was until I really had how few leads they have had in team history.
LOL
Yeah
They never got a lead
I think the greatest comeback/blown lead ever was in 2003. When the 2-1 and defending Champs Tampa Bay Buccaneers were up 35-14! With less than 5 minutes remaining and on there own field in a prime time Monday Night Game against the Colts.
I remember it so well, the Bucs, with that Tampa 2 Defense looked so stout at the start of the season allowing a total of only 22 points in the first 3 games with a shutout in the opener. They had held Peyton Manning to only 14 points all game and were making life hell for him.
At that point, with 4-5 minutes left in the game, down 35-14 against the defending champs and there #1 ranked defense my dad shut off the tv and we went to bed. Woke up the next morning and seen the Colts had won 38-35 in OT. Unbelievable stuff. Manning went on to win his 1st of 5 MVPs that season and the Buccaneers fell apart after that and have never been as good.
You should make a video about it someday possible?
Also, Colts coach Tony Dungy was back in Tampa Bay for first time since being let go by them after the 2001 season. So many story lines and a game that shaped the future for both franchises for years to come.
As a Dolphins fan, so glad you got us out of the way first. That loss cost us a bye, & would have forced the Raiders or Colts to see us at home in the divisional round.
Now before anyone says we would have lost to the Ravens anyway, consider this. We beat Baltimore earlier that season, & would have hosted them in the AFC title game.
The Bucs blew a 27-0 lead against the Redskins in the "YOU LIKE THAT?!" game
Poz Gaming I remember that game, but I think that was a 24 point game
Yeah that was 24
I expect between 28 and 3 jokes in this video
Cardinals definitely deserve an honorable mention for the Dennis Green-led "The Bears are who we thought they were!" meltdown on MNF. That was a 3 TD lead they blew if I recall correct.
Steven Gomez I was expecting that to be it. As a Bears fan I love that game and know it had to be crushing for Cards fans. We scored 0 points offensively, it was a miracle win
ruclips.net/video/nda0lhz7BAk/видео.html
Nameless Entity not true. Bears offense scored 3 points.

Best comeback by every team
Rydawg 26 The entire 2016-2017 Lions season is a comeback. All nine wins they had, they were down in the 4th quarter.
Well we already know what NE’s comeback is...
It warmed my heart to see the giants get shit on by desean jackson.

FivePoints Vids Hilarious, either way! You often have jabs like that, so I am going to believe that it was done subconsciously at the very least.
did you intentionally put the falcons near the end?
i think they're in ascending order of how large the blown lead was

Nah everyone is waiting for the falcons one so he put it the end (so you hypothetically ) had to stay

*Lose 31-51*
Damn, I thought for the Bucs, it would be the 2003 Monday Night game against the Colts. I guess that one will just have to be the greatest comeback ever made in under 4 minutes in NFL history.
Andy that deserves a Dam Son
As a Bucs fan, I came fully expecting to be triggered by the highlights from that game. 15 years later, and I still can't believe we blew that game.
Do a reverse of this!
Every team’s biggest comeback
The bills comeback is undeniably the greatest and most impressive comeback of all time the pats aren’t even close
TreWhite but 28-3 was in the superbowl, with roughly 18 minutes remaining in the game. I honestly believe that is more impressive.
TreWhite I think the miracle at the new meadowlands beats it out just because of how little time they had to come back.
The Pats has Brady, Eagles had Vick.
Bills had only a backup QB.
Therefore the Bills comeback was much better.
Cypriano Way either way, all are impressive
the pats comeback wasnt even a comeback it was a massive gag job by atlanta they were in field gold range with 5 mins left and instead of calling 3 runs they run once and call 2 straight passes for christ sake. 3 runs and a field goal and they win the game Atl choked period
2:38. I think that defensive player on Cleveland shit himself
Lmfaoooo
Longest Yard Reference, LOL
Don’t let this distract you from the fact that the British blew a 13 colony lead in the Revolutionary War.
I was waiting the whole video for the Falcons segment! As a Panthers fan I may never see a Super Bowl trophy but 28-3 will always warm my heart!
haha! I look forward to it as well! Hopfully we aren't both at home watching the Saints! LOl

Love that blitzkrieg reference
After making the playoffs this year, Bills fans will go from chokeslams through flaming tables to piledrivers through flaming tables. And if they can win their division, they'll start wrapping the tables in barbed wire first.
And set them on fire
Browns actually have a 23 points lead on any team before? That's more shocking than them blowing the lead.
You realize the Browns used to be one of the NFLs best teams right?
That "used to be" is...well, a different team (Baltimore Ravens), a different league (prior to merge), and a different era (54 years ago). So...I don't think the Browns is the same "Browns" according to the legend.
Task Don Still the Browns my man, still the Browns.
KingKrush980 if the patriots switched cities and a new team is founded does that mean the new team has 5 championships. Moving a team and changing the name doesn't make them a different team, so those accomplishments belong to the ravens.
Mikey Carrero nope because it’s in the Browns history, not the Ravens, I know what you mean and it’s confusing, The Ravens didn’t exist until 96 so they started with a clean slate such as any other new NFL team, the titans started a new from Houston just saying.
But did you know Golden State blew a 3-1 lead in the NBA finals?
But don't let that distract you from the fact that the Cleveland Indians blew a 3-1 series lead in the World Series to the Chicago Cubs.
So what you're saying is Cavs win the next 3 finals against Golden State.
theuntitled91 RIP Cleveland, you guys are toast. Look forward to seeing the Indians choke away another October.
Did you know that Golden State didn't blow a 3-1 lead in the 2017 NBA Finals. Did you also know that they didn't blow a 3-0 lead in the 2018 NBA Finals? Send your medical bill for that sick burn to FivePoints Vids. Can I get a dam son?!?!
Tony Stebbins Jesus Christ, here’s a triggered GSW fan. N

As a Chiefs fan, I'm not sure which choke job was more heartbreaking: the one in this video to the Colts, or the wildcard game to the Titans on Jan. 6, 2018, where the Chiefs had a 21-3 halftime lead, then lost 22-21.
The 2021 Chiefs would also like a word
I'm a titans/oilers fan and I should have known you would have did us like that 😤

FivePoints: Regarding the Bills comeback win over the Oilers.... Even though it was the old NFL sudden death rules RECALL that the OILERS won the toss in OT. Moon threw an interception and the Bills recovered and then kicked the winning Field Goal.
You know what song Danny amendola sings to AFC playoff teams: “Thank you for being a friend.”
LMAOOOOO

You dont need to explain the falcons one.

Remember that 21point lead that was blown with 8 minutes left in the game.
Oooohhh I 'member!
FivePoints Vids + a beer + taking a shit = perfect way to start the weekend
This is what its all about right here people
Amen!
Well, the Colts now have the largest blown lead ever by going up 33 - 0, surrendering a late field goal headed into half time. Then the Vikings lit up US bank stadium not allowing the colts to score a single point in the second half and won
That Lions comeback against the Cowboys had soma amazing Calvin Johnson TDs. The one you showed, the Dallas defender literally had his had in Johnsons face and pushed him down by it. But another one I remember was three dallas players on Johnson and he just ripped the ball away from them all. Megatron, indeed.
Your Videos just make my day so much better

Don't let the fact that the Falcons blew a 28-3 lead distract you from the fact that the Falcons blew a 28-3 lead.
We might need an updated video, thanks to the colts. and also can it just be during the super bowl era?

My wife was listening to this, kinda not paying attention really..... Until the Momma Cass bit. She choked on her coffee laughing, and because she's a good Iowa girl she felt guilt for everyone involved here. "That's so wrong" was her response right as you are asking if it was too soon.
Still laughing!
This list needs to be updated as of 2023 for 3 teams: Texans, Chargers and Raiders.
8:49 "Jeremy Shockey did what he did best...not showing up in big games." Well, he DID catch what ultimately became the game winning TD in Super Bowl XLIV. Outside of that, another great video.

Blew a 24 point lead in one quarter.
2 seconds in and im DYING ..GUY FALLING WITH THE BEER THO...HAHAHAHAHA
Fun fact: I actually saw 2 of these games live. The first was the Eagles blowing the 23-0 lead to the Vikings. In that game, there was about 8 minuets left when the Vikings woke up. The other game I saw live was the Cardinals comeback against the Bucs. Lomax threw 3 TD passes and Niko Noga ran back a fumble for a TD. The game ended when Bucs kicker Donald Igwebiuke hit the crossbar on a 53 yard FG attempt. Not many people saw the game as the Cards had already announced they were moving(they just hadn't picked a city yet) and the crowd might have been 15k.
Good video bro! Thanks for making this!
6:34 "Lions decide to stop playing"
Typical thing in Detroit even today they are blowing big leads in the 3rd when they stopp playing😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
That Jaws impression, omg! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
We can go ahead and update the Colts biggest blown lead, as Matt Ryan is turning into the anti-Fitzmagic
You were almost on point about the Bills-Oilers game. Today's sudden death OT rules would have been irrelevant because the Oilers got the ball first and Moon threw a pick to Nate Odomes.
10:55 - OMG lmao that was one of the best burns I've EVER heard in my entire life hahaha I've DEF gtta give u props on that one without a doubt lol

Ya my Oilers did that lol. I watched it and was in disbelief. I later bought it on DVD and made my son watch it everytime he started football season. Should be required viewing for any sports team to never give up and never celebrate to early.
The Chargers also blew a 24 point lead on Monday Night Football to the Raiders in Los Angeles back 1982. It was the Raiders first regular season home game in Los Angeles.
did they still win though?
Texans topped theirs in the ‘19 divisional.
Ah! Sudden Howard Dean! Also, they film Walking Dead here in Atlanta, and after the Super Bowl Of Which We Do Not Speak, the entire city wandered around as extras, stunned and confused and just silent. It was both hilarious and heartbreaking.

sorry about that I have allergies...
Michael DeFord yeah the super bowl champions really suck, that won without their starting QB and went 13-3 in the regular season...
MPDeity Bound to be 7-9? Granted, we had an awful start to the season and that 13-3 record now seems like a fluke, but I wouldn’t go as far as saying 7-9 bound. Our division is terrible, so we should go at LEAST 3-2 against the division, depending on how we do against Dallas. If we beat them, I say we should probably go 3-1 in our remaining games against the division. We should beat Houston since we’re at home, and I think we have an decent chance to beat either the Rams or Saints since you gotta get an upset win at least once in a season, right? Granted, the odds of beating the Saints and the Rams is slim to none, but we could at least win one of those games... maybe. The Giants winning the division is pretty much impossible at this point, and even though we only have 1 more win than Dallas as of now, and if they win we have the same record, I still don’t think they win the division. I’m pretty confident we beat Dallas just because we’re at home, so that puts us at 5-4, and if the Bucs beat the Redskins at home, then we’re tied at first. At that point, Dallas’ hopes would be almost crushed, as they have to play in Atlanta, and at home against New Orleans. It would be a nail-biter between us and the Redskins if this plays out, and I really don’t think the Redskins are as good as their record shows. However, it’s only week 10. Anything can happen. The Eagles have the best team out of all, they’ve just had an atrocious start to their season. They haven’t gotten blown out yet, as every single one of their games was decided by one score. And by “washed up shitstains” do you mean the Giants? There is no way in hell we are worse than them. Fuck, pretty much no one in the league is worse than them right now. Their team isn’t even bad, they just haven’t played well whatsoever.
MPDeity I know the Rams and Saints are the two best teams in the league right now, and you have the right to think I’m delusional if I think we could beat one of them, ESPECIALLY on the road. I’m not saying we’ll make the playoffs, but I’m saying we’ll probably go at least 9-7. You can’t say for certain we will lose against the Saints and Rams, especially not with all the crazy upsets happening. I don’t think this team with the season on the line will be beaten that easily. It’s not a cake walk, even though the Saints, Rams, and Texans are all the best teams in their divisions, and the Saints and Rams are the best teams in their Conference. I feel like we will step up. Not necessarily win nor make the playoffs, but it should come down to Week 16 and 17.
MPDeity Scratch whatever bullshit I just said, we’re going 7-9.
Maybe we can get a good draft pick and draft someone who can defend
Well at least the Falcons can’t do that again…
