Wow, your timing is always perfect!!🙈☺️ I got an invitation from my colleague to go to the Newcastle racecourse and you made this video now. I'm grateful. Learning so much from you🙏🏽Thank you tones❤️🌹
You are truly my inspiration. Thank you for your channel. When I started my journey to change my life and become more classy. I sadly thought black women couldn’t be that way. Or live in a class way. I know it’s sad to think that way. I thought people would think I was pretentious. After finding your channel it gave me the confidence I needed to thrive. Thank you so much for your content!
How could you ever think that way? 🤣Remember, Lady Obama, Opera Winfrey & Funso Alakija...the list goes on. These ladies are elegant...And sure, I am one of them...😍
There is a different dress code in Flat racing (like royal Ascot) to jump racing (like Cheltenham festival) - the main one being one in the summer and the other in autumn and winter - so the first thing to must do when at Cheltenham is to dress for cold weather. Tweed is worn alot at Cheltenham by both men and women, women's shoes are mainly flat boots. Fedoras are the most worn hats. And don't forget gloves and scarves. Clothes that are not worn at Cheltenham are 'Ascot type dresses', heels and shiny black shoes (which marks you as a urbanite, and Cheltenham is a country event).
Currently in Nigeria but I believe someday I'll be attending wonderful events like this in the UK. You look absolutely gorgeous, Miss Vivienne. Thank you 💜
Although we don’t have anything as formal as race days in Australia, these are great guidelines, and you provide some great inspiration. Love your introduction to Vivaia shoes and thank you for highlighting that getting drunk is passè!! ❤️
Are you sure about that? Cos I have definitely heard of race days in Australia. I'm a milliner so follow such news and I've definitely seen pictures from Aussie races
It would be interesting to know what is the best company to attend this type of events, I immagine with a female friend/friends with the same our aspiration of elegance? And, by your experience, how the contacts/acquaintances made in these occasions can really and effectively contribute to help us grow as elegant ladies? We all know the circles of the true high society attending these events are by traditon closed to members without similar decendance or fame. Last but not least, Pretty woman's cheering is iconic and has a precious meaning in the contest of the movie!
Hello Vivienne,I just want to know if you have started the training on speaking good English on the skillshare platform. I have just started following you and completed the process. Please do reply
by not going to races and not supporting cruelty ethics > etiquette exploitative, cruel events may be a pastime of royalty, but there’s nothing elegant about it
@Be More Animal horses are bred for performance, drugged up, forced to train and then killed for sure, fur is another evil too, can't believe that in 2022 some people still wear fur
Everybody is always saying "don't judge others for their choices" and "let people live their lives". And yet, here you are, judging another's person's choice to go watch a race. Interesting.
@@julietfrancis3309 nope, not everybody is saying that and i’m not saying that either, when people choices are harming others then they should to be judged, judging choices that harm others is how a society can morally progress or are you against judging dog fights, eating dogs, and many other choices that affect people as well?

I'm a white woman and I drink, flirt, cheer, all the things that make Ascot fun. Have a look most of the women laying drunk in the gutter are white
You literally brighten my day with your amazing smile and sense of style. So stunning!👒

@@aesinam Yes, absolutely. Perhaps my wording was misleading - I meant to say that they aren’t as formal here as perhaps in the UK 😊
@@ohsostylish60 oh ok I get what you mean
If I were in England I surely will have been a part of this classy event, you look gorgeous as always
Not my on list to go to a race but I do enjoy the general etiquette tips you provide Vivienne.
You are such an amazing woman,I love you, thanks for educating me on that.
Here in the US is the Kentucky derby held in Louisville KY in May. It's BIG TIME! Dress to impress. No exceptions.

Your teachings are unique 💕
I love the background 😍
This is going to help for Durban July in South Africa. 🐎🐎🐴

♥️
On peux etre belle Comme ça? 💗
Did you care if you left loads of heel marks
You are so classy and beautiful
Good job la
Don't drink, don't flirt, don't cheer
Might as well stay at home
Not practical but they all do poor grass getting churned up
by not going to races and not supporting cruelty
ethics > etiquette
exploitative, cruel events may be a pastime of royalty, but there’s nothing elegant about it

@Be More Animal for more information about horse racing, i recommend watching "Horse Racing Exposed: From Cradle to Grave"

@Be More Animal lol. Okay.
