PJ didn't do his homework for this breakdown. Ashwatthamaa's Mani was taken by Lord Krishna and he faced the repercussions and had to live until the end of KalYuga. That is why when Kalki Avatar came into existence, he was ready to witness the end and fight alongside with the Last Vishnu Avatar, Kalki.

In Hinduism, there's a belief in a divine being called Kalki Avatar, who will arrive at the end of the current age, Kali Yuga. This era is marked by chaos, suffering, and sin. Kalki Avatar's purpose is to restore balance, justice, and righteousness, ushering in a new era of peace and prosperity, known as Satya Yuga.
Kalki Avatar is said to be the tenth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, the preserver of the universe. He will be born in a brahmin family in the village of Shambhala, with a shining appearance and a sword in hand. His mission is to destroy evil forces, revive spiritual knowledge, and bring an end to Kali Yuga.
Seven immortal beings, known as Chiranjivis, will assist Kalki Avatar in his mission. These beings have lived through cycles of creation and destruction and possess great wisdom and power. They are:
- Ashwatthama
- Bali
- Vyasa
- Hanuman
- Vibhishana
- Kripa
- Parashurama
Together, Kalki Avatar and the 7 Chiranjivis will bring about a new era of harmony and spiritual growth, marking the end of Kali Yuga and the beginning of Satya Yuga.
The 7 Chiranjivis are a group of beings in Hindu mythology who have been granted immortality, exempting them from the cycle of birth and death. Each Chiranjivi has a unique story and circumstances surrounding their attainment of eternal life.
1. Ashwatthama: The son of Drona, a renowned warrior and teacher, was granted immortality by Lord Shiva. However, he was also cursed to suffer from leprosy and roam the earth alone.
2. Bali: A demon king and grandson of Prahlad, was granted immortality by Lord Vishnu. Despite being defeated by Vishnu in his Vamana avatar, Bali's immortality remained intact.
3. Vyasa: A revered sage and author of the Mahabharata and Puranas, was granted immortality by Lord Brahma. This allowed him to transcend the cycles of creation and destruction.
4. Hanuman: The devoted servant and monkey god of Lord Rama, was granted immortality by Rama himself. Hanuman's devotion and strength have made him an enduring symbol.
5. Vibhishana: Ravana's brother, who sided with Lord Rama in the Ramayana, was granted immortality by Rama. He became the king of Lanka and a symbol of loyalty.
6. Kripa: A skilled warrior and teacher, who fought alongside the Kauravas in the Mahabharata, was granted immortality by Lord Krishna. His bravery and devotion earned him eternal life.
7. Parashurama: The sixth avatar of Lord Vishnu, who destroyed the Kshatriya warriors and established the Brahmin caste, was granted immortality by Lord Shiva. He awaits the arrival of Kalki Avatar, the prophesied savior.
These 7 Chiranjivis, though immortal, face diverse challenges and have significant roles in Hindu mythology, often embodying teachings, courage, and righteousness.

Ashwatthama is a significant character from the Hindu epic, the Mahabharata. He is the son of Drona, a master of advanced military arts, and Kripi, the sister of Kripacharya. Ashwatthama was born with a divine gem on his forehead, which granted him power over all living beings lower than humans and protected him from hunger, thirst, fatigue, old age, diseases, weapons, and deities.
The story of Ashwatthama’s gem is intertwined with his actions during and after the Kurukshetra war. Following the war, in a fit of rage and grief over his father’s death, Ashwatthama attacked the Pandava camp at night and killed the five sons of Draupadi. To avenge this act, Arjuna pursued Ashwatthama. During this pursuit, Ashwatthama launched the Brahmashirastra, a powerful celestial weapon, to kill the unborn child of Uttara, Arjuna’s daughter-in-law. To counter this, Arjuna used his own weapon, and eventually, Ashwatthama was forced to withdraw the weapon. However, as a punishment for his heinous act, Krishna cursed Ashwatthama with immortality and a painful disease. Arjuna then took the gem from Ashwatthama’s forehead, which was believed to make the wearer invincible.
The removal of the gem left Ashwatthama in a state of suffering and aimless wandering, which, according to some versions of the story, continues to this day as he is one of the seven immortals or ‘Chiranjeevis’ in Hindu mythology3. The gem was later given to Yudhishthira, the eldest of the Pandavas, by Ashwatthama as a sign of submission and respect

And bcz of this sin, Lord Krishna took Ashwathama's gem and cursed him that the part of his forehead which had the gem would become a wound nd will give him unbearable pain and he wouldn't die and will always bear that pain

I really think they should release this in parts... Cuz chances are that such a complex storyline would get crumpled up into a fast paced one movie plot which could lead to missing some important points in the storyline. Or maybe it might just work better than I think.
