Not Just romantic love, but platonic and familarial love as well. Samus Aran cares about her family, Doomguy was a dad before the Hellgates destroyed what he had (He didn't _just_ lose Daisy, he also lost his wife and his son), and Isaac Clarke wanted to have a good family (his original parents were Unitologists). Titus only ever knew war, and brotherhood. He does not understand love the way most normals do. I get the feeling that had Chief not accidentally pulled the Mariah Casey Song that got him tossed out, he too would have been in total agreement with the Baby's choice of song.
