This movie does not get enough credit . It came out at the end of the sports comedies trend and it just went under the radar. Honestly a fantastic comedy
The thing that's funny about him saying that is that it didn't really sound professional - "If you're gonna drink a beer, might as well make it Busch Bavarian", that's kind of lame.

I love this movie I watch it all the time. Woody brings a respectability to it - you are really rooting for them to come in 4th place, and it doesn't even matter. I think the speech he gives about how it's the last real game of basketball that any of them will ever play, ever, ranks up there with the great monologues in movie history. Plus, it's hilarious. What is this ghost ball ???? he was floating !
Semi-Pro vs Stepbrothers is a lot closer than people think, Semi-Pro ages well you can watch the movie a hundred times and find something different that makes you piss your pants every watch
