Due process is slow, but will always be better for fair, and non-tyrannical government.
Sam just shoots whoever he wants.
It just happens that if he does it when he's the detective, poeple won't shoot him cause he's the detective.
But it does lead to many innocents punished and many who are guilty to be freed. You just can't win no matter what :(

Watching all these Airsoft TTT episodes, I noticed Leah is really good calling out who the Traitor is.
In most of the videos I've seen when she accuses somebody, she's usually right.
D: "I always get the last card and I always happen to get the card. The majority of the cards are innocent so if you allow everyone to pick a card first, the chances of them being innocent are higher. Just think about statistics."

@@thejanusproject32 They make it explicitly clear in future videos, this is 100% allowed. It makes it so you have a very tough time initiating conflict, but doesn't cripple you the whole game.
Michael Woodhams I like your point but is more of just an inconvenience than an actual punishment. To get it he must of ended an innocent’s game in the previous round, meaning the nerf gun is the on of the only things discouraging the innocents from murdering anyone on sight.
@@dpdp6920 that's true, but let's say that a traitor gets a nerf gun. You're now punishing the other traitors because they have a significantly less effective teammate. I think there's no perfect answer, but where it is currently is a nice middle ground.

Their DnD videos were the greatest things ever. It's what got me into tabletop. I'd be so happy if they made another series. I like Critical role but it's a huge commitment.
Those were amazing, but DnD just takes SO much work and investment that Node + CorridorDigital probably doesn't have enough time. But there ARE others that specialize in DnD. My personal favorite is itmejp who does RollPlay. My favorite series of his are Mirrorshades and Swan Song. Blades is good too. They're also great because you can listen to them while doing other things.

In normal TTT, usually its a rule that you can't kill off of suspicion- only hard evidence. It adds more strategy, cause if a person is killed, it doesn't just become an RDM-fest; instead, the innos have to work together with the detective to FIND the identity of the traitors.

I mean it's not in the rules of TTT, you can still kill people on sus if you want to. Plus when you play with friends it makes everything funnier to kill on sus

You should play the new rules with the jester and the phenix
Jester, a person who cannot fight back (cannot shoot or knife), but if he gets killed, the killer dies with him
Phenix, like the legendary bird, if the phenix dies, they will come back to life after a certain amount of time
No one knows who the jester is (not even the traitors know) and vice versa for the jester not knowing the traitors are, but technically they are a traitor, so if there is only traitors and jester alive, the traitors win
Same for phenix, but works for inocents, and if all inocents die and the traitors remain, the round doesn't end if the phenix only die once

Well there's Ultramodern 5e. It's totally doable. You could even leave magic in if you wanted.

This seems to be the luckiest TTT game I've seen, Sam just randomly shoots Niko and it just so happens he is a traitor. Then early on people already have a guess that Miguel is a traitor too. Alex pretty much give himself away by not going in the trust bus. Lol

There is a VR game 'Werewolves Within' that really captures the betrayal and lying theme that, I think, you are trying to capture and us viewers crave. I'd love to see you make a video on it because there is a lot more deception involved, I think you guys would love it!
I help run an animal shelter for animals who are abused or abandoned or don't have a home. Sometime not all of the animals survive. It's a really depressing hobby. These videos always make me feel better. So, thank you.
