What an awesome location! Will definitely remember this hotel when planning our next DL visit. Thanks!
There are some hotels that are even closer, but they also tend to be on the freeway and this one was very quiet!
Great room tour. This is one of the hotels I'm considering for my next trip to Disneyland.
We really loved it, Trisha!
Thanks for the review. Looks like a great place to stay and that view can’t be beat!
It really was wonderful, Terri, and I'd stay there again in a heartbeat!
Nice room, great view, great location!
We were super happy there!
Great tour! Looks like it would be perfect for a family...kitchen....place to relax and watch tv while the kids nap!
Yes, exactly! And some privacy for everyone to boot. Add the free breakfast and it's truly a very comfortable place for a DL vacation!
We are planning a trip out to Disneyland next year and were curious about the Marriott options. This is so helpful, Jenn! Thank you, thank you!
There are several Marriott properties right there and it’s a really nice area. Highly recommend.
Love your room tours 😍 very nice spacious room with a beautiful view!
Seriously the room was huge!! Very comfortable. Thanks for watching, John!
Great room tour! Thanks for sharing. Love the view!
Seriously, it was a great experience over all!!
What an awesome room! I love having lots of space. Even for just the two of us it's nice to be able to go our separate ways for a bit...lol. Amazing view!
Yeah and it really felt more like a small condo which was great once Will joined me
Very nice! Wonderful space. Loved the shower. We stayed at DoubleTree when we went years ago. The Good Neighbor hotels are such a great option. Your view was fantastic!
Wasn’t it wonderful, Wendi?? That hotel really is a bargain!
Jen Lefforge a bargain is something not to turn down! It definitely will allow you to save more money to have for Disney or stick to a budget. Win-win for whatever the needs or wants are for those going. Great lovely option so close to Disneyland!
Havent been to Disneyland since the Tinkebell half marathon weekend. Wish it would come back!
Me too!!! The Disneyland races were wonderful!
That view AND free breakfast half a mile from Disneyland? Sold!
Yeah and if you can catch it on a non-big convention week it can be a great bargain!
I definitely think we will stay off property when we first visit Disneyland. It seems just as nice and probably way less expensive!
Like 4X less expensive, typically! It's a little crazy. Watch out for taxes and fees, too - they're very high in CA and hotels don't include them in the per night price (no one likes sticker shock!)
I never get enough of room tours lol. Love this one! Its definitely easier to get a great option near Disneyland than WDW. I can't wait to go back! You've often shared your room rate, can you share how much this was per night?
I had a rate through the conference and it was just over $300 per night. I’ve seen it as low as $179 but obviously Vidcon drove up the prices that weekend. 😍
Thanks for this. Thinking of finally going to DL next summer 🤞 Been trying to decide between here or DL hotel but think I will book here for more space and less Money. We need a lot of space with what will be 13,16 and 19 year old children. Going to book the next size up in rooms.
With the space and the free breakfast, I really think it's a great value! There was also a super convenient laundry room and a nice roof top pool with fire-pits!
Did you need key card to acess Floors
Hi! This was a super helpful video! Is it walkable to the parks? How long of a walk would you estimate it to be (with elementary school age kids)? Thanks so much!
It’s just about 10 minutes, probably 15 with kids? There’s also a shuttle that picks up right outside the resort although it does cost a small amount.
Jen Lefforge Thank you!
Is there a grocery delivery service in Anaheim like Garden Grocer in Orlando?
All the major grocery delivery services that we use (Shipt is our favorite) service that area.
@@JenLefforge Thank you!!
This is proof that Disney could do a small villa for a reasonable price. They won't but they could. lol This is a good one. Hyatt house is nice too if you are ever looking for another option but I know you are at WDW more often.
I've heard great things about Hyatt House as well!!
We are planning a trip out there fall 2020 so I'm very curious about the hotel options. If it was your first trip to Disneyland with little guys, and weren't sure if you'd make many trips back.... would you do Disneyland Hotel or one of the good neighbors?
If money were no object I’d go with the DL Hotel but that was never the case for us when we had littles so i would 100% go with a good neighbor with free breakfast!! You would save potentially thousands of dollars.
Im thinking about staying there when we go would it work for a family of 5?
Absolutely!! The room we were in would sleep 6
I’m so excited! I just booked our stay at this hotel for our Labor Day trip! I had been deciding between a WDW trip with a MNSS or FIRST Disneyland trip. We decided to say no thanks to the humidity and hello to the Pacific Ocean! Counting down the days! Is there a must try sit down and quick service dining location you can recommend? We are fish eating vegetarians too! Thank you Jen!
I really enjoyed Carthay Circle for a nicer restaurant - the history in that place is incredible! Also, Carnation Cafe on Main Street which was Walt's favorite. They have really good fried pickles. And for quick service, the veggie burger at the Hungry Bear is surprisingly good! The Blue Bayou is of course a classic, but is really expensive so check the menu to be sure you like it.
Silly question, so you know size and weight a backpack needs to be. ? Do they consider the weight of the back pack with the total weight allowed. Thanks
I’m sorry are you talking about for Disneyland or for the airplane?
@@JenLefforge sorry, for the plane. Can I over stuff a large back pack either coming or going and not worry about the weight effecting the total weight for American airlines. Thanks so much
PS, I emailed gopenguin.com and asked for a discount and they sent me a code. So I did order one for my upcoming stay at marriott residence inn @anaheim. They were out of white ones, had to choose red
Ok so they don’t actually weight your carry on. It just has to fit in the overhead or underneath the seat in front of you. Hope that helps!
@@JenLefforge thank you so much
Hi Jen! Great room. How much time would it take to walk to the park gate? I walk at a pretty good pace. Thank you for sharing. Disneyland is on my list for 2021 and I'll probably be going on my 2nd solo trip.
It’s just at 1/2 mile so took me about 10 minutes? 15 tops!
Could you take the Art trolley from the hotel?
Yes! I’m not exactly sure where the stop is though as we never used it.
We must think alike because in my head I was saying...where is the closet? LOL
Cyndi it was hysterical. I thought come one now this is a brand new hotel surely they put in a closet....🤨🤪
Hooray for staying offsite at DL! The onsite hotels are just ridiculously overpriced (IMHO), and you can get so much more literally FEET away.
I couldn’t agree more. I honestly can’t imagine laying the on-site prices - just not worth it there!!
Thanks for the tour, but could do a drinking game with how many times you say the word "nice". Very annoying and detracts from your review.
What an incredibly rude comment.
