  • My experience staying at the Anaheim Marriott Suites in Garden Grove, CA. I know this video was more of a rant if anything but hope it helps others avoid a similar situation.

    You were very clear in presenting the facts of your experience. Please, do not think that this was only a rant. My first thought was, why did you not use a safe? You answered that and the other questions that popped into my head. We were considering this hotel for Disneyland next year, however, you have certainly given us pause. It is so sad that Marriott appears so lackadaisical in their attitude. I think that Marriott and the police could have done some more "connecting the dots" with the given address. Safe and happy travels to you.

    Great and brave review, swimming upstream such a big corporation. It reads as house keeping is subcontracted to another firm. But a customer will not notice. It explains the lack of cooperation by the staff. So it is a management thing: somebody got a bonus by saving on house keeping costs by subcontracting it.

    Wow I’m researching a hotel to stay in for my Disneyland trip, and I came across your video. This is despicable, and I’m sorry to hear about your experience. I definitely won’t be staying there!

    OMG! That’s makes me mad! We stayed at this hotel 2weeks ago with our 2 boys & 2 pets & that was one of my concerns that they don’t have a safe! I brought my hella expensive earrings & Hermes bracelets and Gucci purse and I noticed no safe! So yes, I brought my jewelry with me but locked up my purse in suitcase since I was using another purse because that was way more valuable. I always bring a lock with my suitcase. I did take all my kids air pods and left our 3 Beats in the drawers…thankfully that was there when we returned because we stayed there for 5 days, it would be too obvious because you know kids can’t live without listening to their beats. Although, housekeeping did come to clean our rooms everyday, I’m not trying to say bad things about this place but let’s just say, we will never stay here again because, the rooms were dated, the furniture was ripped, the sink had a big crack across the drain, the closet mirror was cracked, the air vents were full of dust (like it hasn’t been cleaned for months), the water heater was really slow to get hot water in shower, remote control in living room didn’t work. It’s just not the best Marriott Suites that we recall from other hotels. Just disappointed! The front of the hotel area and back parking area needs a massive pressure washing! So filthy!

    I am sorry to hear about the loss of your jewelry. It may be helpful to contact the corporate number and report the incident to higher-ups. Despite the video being a month old, it's worth seeing what assistance corporate can provide. #CustomerService #LostItems #CorporateHelp

    After watching the vlog of Josh Cahill who got banned by Qatar Airlines because of a negative review, I wonder if that hotel chain will ban you as well - imagine !
