I love all your Christmas drawing ideas! I especially liked the snowglobe with your pets inside, because that was just so cute. I may need to try that Christmas tree technique, but I doubt I'll ever get round to it. ❤ Do you think you'll ever do a video on drawing ideas to do with your OCs? As someone who has seen A Christmas Story for ages, the new one A Christmas Story Christmas follows the time line. This one to me is more like a good sequel than 2. I love the Back To The Future movies. And movies that follow a time line and keep as many OG characters as possible.

That’s an interesting tip about adding cinnamon to the paint. I have eaten bits of a gingerbread house, however if I decorated any this year, I wouldn’t eat it if I bought a kit from a store as I’m currently trying to eat gluten free. I do enjoy decorating and eating gingerbread men though and I like making gingerbread itself.
My family never did matching PJs either, or even gifting Christmas PJs on Christmas Eve. We do get our stockings on Christmas Eve. For a couple of years American Girl released Christmas PJs in woman’s sizes (for a mother/daughter matching set) so I did get one of the pairs to match my dolls. Most other matching is just finding something similar.
Eloise At Christmastime is awesome! I have a book collection of Eloise stories. One year when my mom and I were on a day trip in NYC, we stopped in the Plaza Hotel and they have a small Eloise gift shop in it. Someday we want to save and spend a night at the Plaza.
I love so many Christmas movies that it can be hard to choose a favorite so I’ll share my favorite Rankin Bass special at least: Nestor, The Long-Eared Christmas Donkey. Rudolph is a close second. Nestor is just so sweet and adorable.

Ooh that’s tough - I tried going gluten free for a while about a year ago because of some health issues. Turns out gluten was not the issue but I understand the struggle (Ps - the King Arthur Gluten Free flour was my favorite for baking!)
OMG really? I would have loved that as a kid, I was obsessed with AG dolls. I had some to match Samantha but I don’t remember there being adult sizes.
I’ve always wanted to visit the Plaza! I never got the chance to visit the Eloise store, but I did get an Eloise doll from FAO Schwartz on a trip many years ago. I think it would be cool to stay in the Eloise suite that Betsey Johnson designed, but I’m not sure I could justify the price lol

I saw the original Santa Clause in theaters. We didn’t see a lot of movies because there were six of us and it got expensive quick, but we all watched Home Improvement together every week so we had to see Tim Allen in a holiday movie. But my favorite growing up was a Muppet Family Christmas, where all the muppets (plus the Sesame Street and fraggle rock characters) go stay with Fozzie’s mom for the holiday. You can’t find it anywhere anymore, I guess they only licensed some of the music for one broadcast so they couldn’t reproduce it for sale, but it was really cute.

For a yellow effect, you want to have a shape, draw it with a low opacity in a bright version of the colour, draw it a bit smaller with a slightly more opaque and paler version of the colour, and draw it on top a bit smaller with a bright white. Hope that helps!

i love gingerbread and its fun putting s house together. i put cinnamon and spice into the mixture for Papier-mâché, since that mixture can smell pretty bad

I LOVE the classics - Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer (Stop motion animation, and ones made similarly - like the Little Drummer Boy, the New Year one, etc..... )..... and the Charlie Brown Christmas.... .....
but I really like the first "The Santa Clause".... (and think it's my current favourite Christmas Movie).... The 2nd one was good too, but not as good as the first one.... I don't remember the 3rd one, but I've probably watched it.... And I am looking forward to watching the new series....

Beautiful drawings and ideas ! That snowglobe is my favorite but I have a weakness for everything cats 😅 like 8/10 my art includes a cat, the other 2/10 it is a Fox or a bunny. My Christmas card this year is a bunny eating his Santa hat 😂 for the rest besides the card I’m skipping Christmas & Christmas decorations this year

In my multimedia Class we had to choose a good movie and terrible movie so we chose the new home alone movie man our class started crying because how awful it was. Our family rule is never to eat gingerbread houses. My favourite Christmas movie is The Grinch. Where I live Christmas falls in Summer so your fine with it.
You think they’d have learned their lesson after Home Alone 3 but no, they just had to keep going 😂 my mom used to get the kits on clearance at the end of the season to use the next year - it wasn’t an official “rule” but we were warned not to lol. That’s a good one! Although there are like 3 versions of The Grinch, my favorite was always the live action one.
