As a graduate of CFNI, I was there when Sondra Corbett sang her song I Worship You Almighty God along with Thompson, (forget his first name, Dwight?) , on the duet. NO ONE sings this song like they do!! Sondra played the keys on this song too. This song went around the world and is still sung today. It needs to be brought back the way it was originally done!! I am so blessed to have found this recording! Wish there was some way to own it on CD......
I'm from Brazil, and when I was a little girl, my parents got this tape from Mrs. Honzalek. I have learned how to speak English by singing and praising the Lord with these songs. 🙏🏻❤️
I feel like I've found a treasure trove. We were there from 1986-88 but the music on this tape and earlier ones you've posted were songs we often sang in chapel. The richness of singing Scripture is the best. God's Word has been hidden in my heart through many of these songs. Thank you for your work in getting these online. Blessings.
I remember Christ For The Nations came to Detroit Michigan in August 1985. I attended with my Mom, I was in elementary at the time, but remember them very. My Mom had this album on cassette at the time. Great music, great memories! Today's Christian hip hop/ rock isn't nearly as good or as anointed as this music was. I wish Churches would play this kind of music today.

We were comrade in arms, wharfboy! I was at CFNI from 1982-1985 (a music major). In GLT, I had the 2nd-floor room right next to the elevator. It overlooked the pool. Along with a some great roommates, my time at CFNI were the best years of my life to date, too. Fond memories of 5 a.m. prayer with Bro. Dan Morocco in the Chapel, plus so much more... God bless you.
I love these songs. Bring great memories back. I also attended CFNI during this time. I had sheet music to all these songs, but on my move back to my home state they were lost in transit.

If anyone can convert that audio to digital so I can play it on my Android smartphone, let me know/name your price. And of course for everyone else that wants it. @John Caccomo - The CFNI 1985 "Let God Arise" was recorded at a live worship session one evening in late March 1985. It was shortly after we (the student body) had returned from Spring Break (March 9 - 16). [ It was probably recorded on March 26th.] It was between Spring Break and Easter. Easter was on April 7th that year.
I'm glad you like these. I would like to upload more, but I have put up what I have, as The Lord leads me to do so. Copies of these old tapes can be hard to find. If you could list the ones you have and their year, it's a place to start. God bless you. --John
