Poor bear prob traumatized. He prob lost his home too!
Are you kidding? LOL! He looks like he's been eating very well and just woke up from a nap. No hibernation for him. 😂
Bears and mountain lions lost their homes a long time ago 🏗️🏢🏘️ LA is wack
@@October_Baby I'm certifiable 😂😂
He'd been there for years. He was part of the neighborhood. Poor old guy. No more trash day buffets for him.
@@October_BabyDisplaced? He displaced himself, by leaving the woods. No squatters rights, not even for bears.
The poor baby had no where else to go. There should be more wildlife conservation and sanctuaries for them.
Yes there should be!
Well tel Democrats to stop importing millions and millions of people who need housing which destroys their environment.
They didn't say the bear was injured or in poor health so theres no reason to take it to a sanctuary when it can live in the wild. And I can promise you the bear would rather be in the wild
@@HabeasJtheres no more wild left its burned down and people have built their homes on their home
There already is
Thank-you for not harming him.
The greatest part of the story us how everyone, including the homeowner, was so neighborly, kind and helpful with this big baby!!!
What a beautiful old bear. Wishing him all the best....
So he’s been living there for years. Just let him be. He would come out and wonder around like he used to.
An old man of the forest and a peaceful neighbor how I hear.
So glad they handled him with care-he's gone thru alot too & had no where to go.Thank you🐻
So the evacuaee can come home, but the bear gets evacuated?
@IMeMineWho 🙄Rright?!? Guess they wouldn't turn on power, cuz he was in the way🐻
I hope they took him somewhere nice and fed him. He is so adorable! Little old face!🥲🩷
Like a grampa🥰🐻
He is definitely a survivor! ❤
Poor Pooh bear
Aww, glad it survived the fire❤
Not “it”...HE! 💛
Poor beautiful Barry.
That's a well loved and well fed boy. Some neighbours have been cooking meals for that handsome fella.
And leaving pies on the windowsill
THANK YOU FOR HELPING THE BEAR BERRY!!!! I LOVE ANIMALS SO MUCH!!!!! Animals need us to be kind to them!!!!!!
He has been through so much. These poor poor animals.😢
My 🐇's Community Pages have updated daily ways to help displaced animals. Rescues needing help in eache area affected by the fires.
@@IMeMineWho would like to see the rescues they mention .. ?
The Bear lost his home and the Bear is trying to survive. The poor animal has my sympathy.
Im glad no harm came to the bear ...hopefully it stays safe
So cute!!! That face, old dude…he looks so gentle, he had found a comfy spot poor little big guy!
Love Rick Chambers, I had the pleasure of giving him a ride a couple weeks ago with his daughter, he is such a gentleman and a riot!!!
IT'S A GRANDPA BEAR 🐻
You are so right I met Rick chambers a few years ago when he was doing a news report at my workplace he's a very kind and caring man.
He is beary cute
Yeah and beary dangerous at that!
😂
@@benjamintribe4652 What's your point? He had nowhere else to go in the fires.
@@October_Baby what do you mean what's my point regardless of it's displacement that doesn't negate the fact that it's a wild animal with the potential to harm others i.e. making it a dangerous wild animal can you wrap your brain around that or not?!
@@October_Baby I don't expect anything I made my point two comments ago your the one who's reaching since you love animals so much why don't you invite Mr. Black bear over for some tea and a slice of pie!!
He looks so sad
His home was burned down.
He found shelter and was chased, drugged and evicted. The New Year ain’t so happy !
He just woke up. 🐻
He can come live with me 🥰
I’ll adopt him. 😊
@@Snappy650💯
He is a huge handsome old boy. He lived a long life. So glad he gets to go forth and prosper as much as possible. What a calm and good boy.
So thankful!!
All animals have been " pushed out" of their homes, human, wildlife conflict causes so much harm to all!
So thankful to you all for " doing the RIGHT" thing !
Bless you all kind hearts! So much love. Heros.
Thank you.
🌟💜🌟🐻🙏🏼😇
♥️♥️♥️♥️
Awe! Thank you so much for helping this bear sir. God Bless you!
Awe! So glad they were able to peacefully relocate the old man! He looks so fluffy! And he does look like he’s lived a long life so far! 👍🥳🌷
He's beautiful but scared poor baby😢❤
520 lbs of a black bear. WOW! 🐻
That’s a big boy
Bears are like hogs in that they have no appetite satiation. They’ll get as big as the food supply.
Bro's prepared for 3 winters 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Poor baby, so glad he could be rescued and relocated!
He is a big beautiful fellow and he is very handsome and I'm so glad they got him out too and Barry is the best name ever❤🎉❤🎉😊
Bears have gone through a lot as well! Thank you for caring!
One thing that always seems to unite people is our love for animals. ❤️❤️❤️
He’s like “I thought I told you, only YOU can prevent wildfires!!!” 😭
Lmaooo
Y'all are so frickin' cute!!!!!!
Thank you so much for saving this bear & relocating him to a better spot!!!!! Must have been really scary for the bear too!♥️♥️♥️♥️
The bear has lost his home and family too
they are solitary but I hear ya, butterscotch-and-vegetable-spray should be trending
They often struggle when they are relocated. Hope they left him that food too so he is not seriously hungry.
What a great public servant!
Aww…he needed a place to go.. hope he stays safe ❤
Berry💘
Aw poor old thing. I hope he can survive where ever they released it to.
Aww poor bear 🐻 😢 hope he’s ok now 🙏
Poor old baby. Scared confused and breathing in toxic fumes from the fire 😭. Edit: thank you good humans for rescuing him! 🐻❤
Yes. Poor animals who breathe that in!
God bless the animals. ❤
Poor Bear & all the Wildlife & humans..no home...sheesh..heartbreaking!
Poor thing, just trying to shelter ❤
I never met a bear with a large bank account.
Big handsome Beary. ❤❤❤❤
Awe. He had no home to go back to. Look at the old guy.. give him love.
So happy he survived
Aww so glad he was rescued.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Yes, they have been through enough! Poor teddy looked so relaxed under there. Just an old man look'n for a comfy spot to chill. Wish I had a spot for him. Just an animal lover.
Glad they did not just kill the bear. A good deed done.
🏅
😢😢 i hope that beautiful bear is safe and happy !!! ❤❤❤
He's just lost and cornfused. There's a whole Sierra Nevada mountain range not far off for him Good luck buddy and happy bear trails👍👍👍
He's really cute! Bear 🐻 handsome!
Thank God they didn't kill it 🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
❤❤❤❤
Nice to see recovery with this elder bear. Agency handled him in the best humane way. Elder bear has sad eyes. He's been through so much with fires and no food. Bless these kind fellows to humanly help him out from under that home. Pray his bew habitat he can find some bear friends. Animals have been through trauma with the fires. Natural habitat is being destroyed due to continued development. Bear had some tasty treats before being released. Feel sad for this elderly bear. Pray he will be ok 🙏🫶
Glad he was hiding and was safe from the fire. 😊
What a sweet bear!
Poor bear has been through so much!!! He has been displaced all his life, by humans building, and now fires, I’m sorry precious bear 🙏💔
The symbol of California enduring
Grizzly bear is what’s on the state flag. Grizzly Bears have not been seen in California since 1924. They are twice as big as California Black Bears
@@toomignon That's really sad.
@ Yes, it is, especially considering how much open and appropriate habitat California still
has north of Redding.
No way a grizzly would fit in a crawl space . That’s a black bear
@@landocal0 Grizzly bears are excellent hunters. This means you would be hunted if they sniff you out.
That's a massive boy for a black bear. Well fed and hunkered down.
I’m glad he was safe under there during the fire. I had read about him and am glad they put a tracking collar on him.
Thank you for relocating this bear. Here, in Minnesota, the DNR often just shoots the animal without even trying to relocate. They are gun happy hunters. Hope the 🐻 bear will like its new location.
I'm glad they relocated him too but they should always relocate. Their normal policy of just leave it there stinks of CA liberal logic. There's no problem until there's a catastrophe. A black bear usually won't hurt anyone unless someone gets too close. Leaving a bear in a community is an unacceptable risk.
That kill culture mentality is everywhere. " Wildlife management" needs to be changed. It is 2025, not 1885.
He was prob looking for safety and a place to quietly pass away. Im glad they didnt hurt him.
Aww Poor Bearry lost his home :(
He's adorable
I hope the baby makes it through this tragedy.
I know you guys think I'm crazy but if there was a bear under my house I would have to feed him and take care of him. Actually he would end up being very spoiled
😅
That poor bear looks like it's gone through it big time. May very likely have lost loved ones, too. 😢❤
Please don’t hurt him 😢
I hope they didn't hurt that thing. Poor thing, probably completely traumatized from the fire, with nothing to eat now
His Lyft driver refused him so he decided to look for some picnic baskets and then fell asleep under the house.
Guess the bear should have called Lyft XL
So it was "too big to tranquilize" until they tranquilized it, brilliant
There would be no way to move the 525 lb bear out of that small crawl space. That’s why it wasn’t tranquilized under the house. Brilliant @ghostwaalk246!!!
What they meant is had they tranquilized it under the house it was too big for them to drag out of the space.
Smart bear.❤❤❤
That thing is huge!
awe ...poor bearry
glad he is safe from the fire. poor guy. imagine how many birds, nests, animals perish in every disaster event. millions.
My 🐇's Community Pages have listings of pet rescues that need fosters, food, blankets, etc. It is updated daily. While mostly info on rescues for displaced pets, it also includes some human resources as well.
Big guy looks so betrayed at 1:54 when he realizes all that delicious grub was just a trick.
PooR thing. I'm glad he made it through the fire. Hope he will be ok??
Oh no poor thing, he is probably scared and overwhelmed with the fires
Nothing is “too large to tranquillize “ .
It was too large to move from under the house if they did. 525 pounds of dead weight to try and drag out of that crawl space
So in most cases, who would be the ones to remove a bear from a crawl space?
You just have to wait for them to come out then board it up before they return.
@@destinyreturns4885
I LIKE your rules!!!!♥️
What a blessing Bears are protectors
Take him back to a location he was aware of how cruel to take him to a completely different location
If Fish and Wildlife wouldnt normally remove him? What agency does? 🤔
They don't. The poor homeowner is stuck... so much for paying taxes for services.
Even the SPCA won't help anymore. Our local Animal Control (Monterey County) won't either. They claim it's too much of a risk to send an officer on to private property as the officer may be injured. Fish & Wildlife are worthless too now.
2:53 “They’ve seen this bear in the neighborhood for years. In fact, they named him Barry” 😂😂😂
Can you imagine if pets or children were outside 😮
525 lbs is a BIG black bear - and he's an old bear.
Now that's a guy who knows how to survive ❤ good job cutie pie.... you saved your life by hiding
Good job!
Beary looks very well fed.
Damn that’s. Cute 🐻
Poor Barry has to find a new home❤😂❤it took three men to lift his hind quarter. Absolutely amazing❤
Thank you for finding a way to care for the bear too. He's been terribly traumatized and probably hadn't eaten or drank water for sometime. I hope he'll be okay in his new environment. Can you post an update as to how the bear is doing?
He better be safe ❤
Did homeowner tell utility person a monster bear was living under his house, before he crawled in 😂
Hey, that's Smokey! I've known him all these years. Must've lost his hat in the fire. 🤠
People please we have to have better screening when we do our airbnb's you never know who you're going to get😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣❤️🏅
I’m Indigenous American from N. California…please take good care of PANO. He’s a beauty. 🤔♥️🐻🪽
Leave the bear alone
He knows where to hide out, or thought he did.
Poor bear is trying to get safe from all the fires
Smokey made it out!
The bear waved goodbye 👋🏽
Yes he did I think he said goodbye and thank you he had a good lunch
He was hiBEARnating. 😂 🐻 That was his den. Should have let the old guy stay til spring. Bummer.
If surroundings all burnt up, what's he going to eat?
@lindalavino7567 bears don't eat during hibernation
@PACbelltech1 🤭🤭🤭
He looks so sad ☹️ He prob lost everything too. Hope they put him some place nice where he can find a Mrs. Beary.
Poor guy. Probably needs water and food
