Awesome video! Nice look, I did the same thing with a buggy and a Tamiya truggy. The truggy came out better if you can believe it. Question, do you figure that this would also work out pretty good on an Xray xb8? Also, do you think the xb8 and the 808 share the same differential figurations for a motor mount? EX: same holes distance, height, etc, which motor mount did you use?
i assume you mean the xb8 2014 spec. I have never seen one of these cars so i don't know but i think they use the exact same diffs as the 808 so maybe it would be similar idk... I used the motor mount from that integy conversion which has worked fine (all other items in that kit were utter shite tho)
MJSracingTV Lol...yes, I agree, all the other items in those kits are useless! I bought the MBX6 kit a little while ago...just the mount was good. I was trying to avoid the rest of the kit and just purchasing the mount from someone or somewhere. Actually I just came up on a few xb8 2006-08 specs, the older ones. I wanted to convert one to eco but the battery tray situation isn't looking too good, I install an RC8e radio box already and it looks good. But I can't see myself spending all that money on one of those kits when only the motor mount is worth anything.
Is there a reason you did not just buy the xray 808e plastic sprues?. Same layout without hand fitting?. I hghly rate the 808e. I done a similar conversion on an team durango dnx408 which worked well.
Hey there what shell you running on ya 808 ive just revived my 808 from the loft n used the integy conversion kit n need a new shell is it the proline buldog for the ae RC8.2e
Great video; any information about the conversion kit? thanks
What motor mount have you used?

Dude when your trimming plastic, you should use safety. Glasses
andy porter like the good ol saying;
It may take some time to get used to safety glasses, but you will never get used to seeing w one eye...
