I’ve been a niners fan my whole life, but it’s impossible not to recognize the impact that JJ has had not only on his team, but on his peers and the game of football as a whole. He has shown that working hard and doing the little things right truly can and will pay off in the long run. I’ve watched some incredible games involving JJ, and it will be sad to not see him on Sundays anymore. An absolute beast of a player and an even better person. Congratulations on one hell of a career, enjoy your time with your family and loved ones, for you have earned it. Your impact as a player is unparalleled and so is your work ethic. We’ll be seeking you in Canton really soon.

Getting called a pain in the ass by Tom Brady is probably one of the best compliments JJ could ever want.
Also as a broncos fan, I never knew seeing videos of Peyton Manning getting sacked could make me smile so much. Congrats JJ, you’re an inspiration to many and you show that hard work pays off.

Thanks JJ Watt for signing my son’s backpack when you visited his school. He treasures it to this day. It’s hard to believe he’s better at something other than football. That is being a good man who always took time for anyone. Thanks for creating a nightmare for the Buckeyes on an October night in Madison, WI. It was was one of my favorite football memories. Pretty sure Terelle Pryor remembers that night. He was a nightmare for so many teams through the years.

JJ Watt... there are no words that can describe how much I've loved watching you play football. You will always be on my wall. It's my favorite quote everr ... " You have to be willing to sacrifice whatever is necessary to be the best" JJ Watt
And my other favorite quote .... " The people you surround yourself with can either help build you or help break you ."
    " Choose wisely." JJ Watt
I may not be blood born into The Watt Family, but I was adopted into it. And I know we stick together and never give up.
Thanks JJ for being my biggest Inspiration❣️❣️❣️

As an AZ and JAX fan I was so torn when he signed with AZ. I mean, I HATED him so much as a JAX fan, and as an AZ fan I was like "we paid him way too much and he took injury prone".
But the fact he CHOSE to sign with AZ on his own, and didn't just treat it as a paycheck like most veteran free agents I feel speaks volumes. He definitely won me over this season.

    Beautiful video!
As a Steelers fan. I was so happy when we drafted T.J. I always said...NOW WE HAVE A WATT! Since 2011 you have been dominate on the D. QB's feared you and DT's wanted to play like you. You are definitely going to be in Canton one day! But what is more amazing than your football career, is the type of person that you are. While on the field, you struck fear into the hearts of offenses...off of the grid iron, your heart was as big as your bicep...even bigger!
To watch the things that you did for those that needed it the most has been inspiring and shows that no matter how big you get...no one is to big to reach down and help someone at the "bottom." Thank you for giving us years of amazing football. Thank you for being an example for those coming after you. Thank you for giving of yourself without wanting anything in return.
You are amazing. 99 is the new #1! (besides #90 😉😁)
    Enjoy retirement!
