This song is actually what introduced me to Fall Out Boy. I found this song on one of my moms CDs and recognized John Mayer’s name but when I heard Patrick’s Vocals I fell in love lol. 10 years later I’m still a huge fan 🤟💕

To all the people pitting this against the original, just two facts for you people, 1) FoB did this not to compete with MJ, but as a tribute to him. 2) FoB stated in an interview that this song was just a sort of restored and modern version of the original, and Patrick said that his voice could never match MJ.
They probably released it under Michael's consent and approvement. Moreover, big part of those ''easy sales figures'' must've gone to MJ's pockets, so don't worry.

When did Mayer sing? I only heard Patrick the whole way through. Or was it not a "solo" but "special guest background vocals"? They've been pulling that stunt with duets for a while now.
