We've seen mostly positive comments on this record and it's our best selling pre-order of 2018 thus far. That speaks volumes, right there.
but at least people know the horrible cleans have generated enough negative comments for the label to respond and that speaks even more volumes. And the reaponse is quite typical "sales, money, numbers".

Elitism in metal is a plague, but its a sickness that will always exist. Doesnt hurt my feelings though, I honestly pity people that are close minded in that sense, it must suck only having a small amount of music you can listen to.

Just discovered this band a couple weeks ago. Amazing
The amount of growth this album shows is nothing short of astonishing.
The sound of a saxophone in a heavy metal song works so damn well when done right.
i have a feeling i won't be able to listen to anything else for months to come after the release of this album

As an older metalhead with 30+ years of consuming metal music I have learned to let the music take me on the journey when possible. If I am limited to my preconceptions and the music itself cannot take me past that threshold, then I admit there is a failure in the music to push me past my criticism and preconceptions. This album took me on a journey past what I expected or imagined and that is why I keep coming back to metal for all these years. Salute to RON for this album.

You know what I like? Instruments that Dont belong in Metal that can fit perfectly into a metal song. Like that Saxophone. Its creative.
The sax the cleans everything fits perfectly with the theme of the album I just don't get these complaints different strokes for different folks I guess

What a strange and surprisingly good-sounding combination.
Spotify recommended me this track yesterday and I've listened to it all day on repeat.
Caught them on the devastation the nation tour with decrepit birth, the Kennedy veil, zenith passage in Atlanta. They were the tightest live band that night, absolutely killed it.
Hopefully I'll catch them along with Dying Fetus in April.

These guys are one of the most forward-thinking metal bands out there .I think bringing a sax and clean vocals into their music is great ,more power to them. these guys will go down as one of the great metal bands of all time from the US and they're doing everything right. monarchy was a awesome album. But the conscious seed of light was even better.... But this album Takes the Cake where the owls know my name that's such a killer freaking title to an album to.... this right here is better than any of the albums they put out.
