Thank you for sharing, @FishingWithBIGD. I'm going fishing for Blue & Channel Catfish this weekend. I'm going to use chicken chunks and hotdogs cut in 1/3, with chicken liver and garlic salt, plus Jello...Jello has Amilo Acid like animal product. (SALMONELLA) Make sure you wash your hands after handling raw chicken. Also, I might try to target for some Red Drum Fish on shrimp at the lakes here in San Antonio, TX! 🐟🎣
I hope you catch em all my friend These work well in my area Southwest Virginia.... I would think you should see results also .. and thank you for your service 🙏
I tried this with great success. We catch a lot of huge bullheads some lakes. I have been cutting them up and dumping the pieces in the marinate. Works just as good and the bait almost never comes off. Leave the skin on.
@chriswalls5831 In my area we mostly see channel cats They don't get real big like blues and flat heads do... my biggest is probably 5 to 6 lbs .... but I was with my dad when he got one pushing about 10lbs
I'm not going lie being from Arkansas when I moved to Louisiana I thought people was tripping telling me to fish with shrimp. But I can tell you I've caught coolers full of eater size cat on shrimp and really everything else at the same time even bass when I use live shrimp
@@FishingWithBIGD Channels is what I'm after! Down here on the St. John's River in Central Florida. Don't come across Blues or Flats ever. They are here, but never catch'm. How long do you let the bait sit before you use it?
How long will the shrimp last in the fridge? I just whipped some up but I’m not going to fish till this weekend. Wanted it to marinate a few days to really penetrate with the garlic and koolaid And toughen up the shrimp some cause the added salt.
It should be fine , I usually make mine about 2 or 3 days before, and marinade it like that , the salt should toughen them up just a bit and help maintain it on the hook . But I have noticed after freezing Them and thawing them a few times The shrimp starts to breakdown and won't stay on the hook well at all ... It starts to turn to mush ...
Alright sweet thanks for the reply man. Yeah what I don’t use this Saturday I’ll toss in the freezer and make sure to use it on my next trip out. I have noticed freezing and thawing multiple times, like you said, just turns everything into mush 😂

Try kosher salt/non iodine salt
