Yeah, there were a lot of technical difficulties while recording and rendering Ascension for some reason. Sound synching issues and other bugs. I will replay the game on an RPCS3 emulator in the future and complete a NG+ run with all maxed out weapons and magic. Stay tuned for that.

Ascension is a game hard to get used to, it demands more focus and skill than before plus the changes to some moves can throw people off if they're used to the usual GoW control scheme, just take your time and you will master it
I enjoyed playing through this game. Though playing it on Hard definitely affected my enjoyment of it this go around. I'm glad I got it done, but I probably won't play the others on Hard so I can just enjoy them.

Yeah, I believe air attacks are highly effective in Ascension. They allow Kratos to engage enemies 1 on 1 and build the gauge meter quickly. Since it was a no damage walkthrough on Titan difficulty, I needed good strategies. One hit and you are pretty much finished.

Man you're an awesome player the enemies have not even touched you but during your gameplay, I noticed some bugs in the game like audio and sound effects and a few nonsense loadings is that normal in your opinion?
Thank you for the compliment. There is noticeable audio clipping in the game. Especially when there is a lot of action on screen. The game doesn't use any manual save points. Everything is autosave. So the game is constantly saving your progress. However, I never experienced anything too abnormal with regards to loading. I must mention, I was recording with the Elgato HD60 S+ and ran the game on native resolution on PS3. On rare occasions, there were some technical issues that caused audio hiccups and frame drops. Nothing too crazy though. It beats streaming the game from PS Plus Premium. Bunch of issues if you stream it.

Because my disc version of the game on my PS3 for a long time is showing some issues such as audio and sound effect bugs and limbo in the scenario at a certain point of the game, more precisely when we go back to the hecatonchires prison after Kratos is been captured by the furies cutscene if I am not wrong. Anyway the problem is the scenario simply disappear in this part and when I try to walk through Kratos falls infinity and the game crashes and my disc isn't scratched, dirty or damaged and the game is updated I don't know what problem is that. It's very frustrating... What is your opinion about this?
That is strange. I didn’t have those exact technical issues with Ascension. The game never crashed on me. However, I did run into a well-known glitch on Chapter 27 when fighting the Manticore. Ascension is notorious for bugs and glitches. It is possible that you have a bad copy of the game or there is an issue with updates or patches. It could even be your hardware. Try playing your copy of Ascension on a friend’s PS3. If the issues remains, then it is the game itself that is problematic. If the issue is no longer present on your friend’s PS3, then the issue is with your PS3. Hope this helps.
@WARMATRiX_ I see. Maybe my copy is with issues. Because my other God game God of War 3 has the same problems bugs in sound effects and audio music and at a certain part of the game when we climb the chains of Olympus my game crashes on this part and begins an endless loading it's horrible. Certain day I was testing my copy of Gow 3 on my friend's PS3 and the same issue and bugs happened on his PS3. And until today both my Gow 3 and Gow Ascension are showing the same problems like they were connected and this only happens with these two games which previously used to work normally. My other games not from the Gow franchise work perfectly on my PS3 this is very strange like you said. My guess for this issue could be corrupted files inside the game or something like that.
Yeah, Ascension doesn’t allow you to save manually. Everything is autosave. Plus the game is chapter-based. So whenever I got hit, I restarted the chapter or continued from the latest checkpoint. Not all checkpoints are permissible. It must follow the guidelines for no damage runs. Please read the description box for more details. Thanks for watching.

God of War 3 is technically a longer game than Ascension. However, the strategies I used in GoW 3 were far more efficient, as I optimized that run for speed and efficiency. Whereas in my Ascension run, I prioritized no damage and getting 100% completion.

Yeah, there were a lot of technical difficulties while recording and rendering Ascension for some reason. Sound synching issues and other bugs. I will replay the game on an RPCS3 emulator in the future and complete a NG+ run with all maxed out weapons and magic. Stay tuned for that.

Ascension is a game hard to get used to, it demands more focus and skill than before plus the changes to some moves can throw people off if they're used to the usual GoW control scheme, just take your time and you will master it

Yeah, I believe air attacks are highly effective in Ascension. They allow Kratos to engage enemies 1 on 1 and build the gauge meter quickly. Since it was a no damage walkthrough on Titan difficulty, I needed good strategies. One hit and you are pretty much finished.

Man you're an awesome player the enemies have not even touched you but during your gameplay, I noticed some bugs in the game like audio and sound effects and a few nonsense loadings is that normal in your opinion?
Thank you for the compliment. There is noticeable audio clipping in the game. Especially when there is a lot of action on screen. The game doesn't use any manual save points. Everything is autosave. So the game is constantly saving your progress. However, I never experienced anything too abnormal with regards to loading. I must mention, I was recording with the Elgato HD60 S+ and ran the game on native resolution on PS3. On rare occasions, there were some technical issues that caused audio hiccups and frame drops. Nothing too crazy though. It beats streaming the game from PS Plus Premium. Bunch of issues if you stream it.

Because my disc version of the game on my PS3 for a long time is showing some issues such as audio and sound effect bugs and limbo in the scenario at a certain point of the game, more precisely when we go back to the hecatonchires prison after Kratos is been captured by the furies cutscene if I am not wrong. Anyway the problem is the scenario simply disappear in this part and when I try to walk through Kratos falls infinity and the game crashes and my disc isn't scratched, dirty or damaged and the game is updated I don't know what problem is that. It's very frustrating... What is your opinion about this?
That is strange. I didn’t have those exact technical issues with Ascension. The game never crashed on me. However, I did run into a well-known glitch on Chapter 27 when fighting the Manticore. Ascension is notorious for bugs and glitches. It is possible that you have a bad copy of the game or there is an issue with updates or patches. It could even be your hardware. Try playing your copy of Ascension on a friend’s PS3. If the issues remains, then it is the game itself that is problematic. If the issue is no longer present on your friend’s PS3, then the issue is with your PS3. Hope this helps.
@WARMATRiX_ I see. Maybe my copy is with issues. Because my other God game God of War 3 has the same problems bugs in sound effects and audio music and at a certain part of the game when we climb the chains of Olympus my game crashes on this part and begins an endless loading it's horrible. Certain day I was testing my copy of Gow 3 on my friend's PS3 and the same issue and bugs happened on his PS3. And until today both my Gow 3 and Gow Ascension are showing the same problems like they were connected and this only happens with these two games which previously used to work normally. My other games not from the Gow franchise work perfectly on my PS3 this is very strange like you said. My guess for this issue could be corrupted files inside the game or something like that.

Yeah, Ascension doesn’t allow you to save manually. Everything is autosave. Plus the game is chapter-based. So whenever I got hit, I restarted the chapter or continued from the latest checkpoint. God of War 3 is technically a longer game than Ascension. However, the strategies I used in GoW 3 were far more efficient, as I optimized that run for speed and efficiency. Whereas in my Ascension run, I prioritized no damage and getting 100% completion.
