I've been playing for my whole life, and looping for about a year. I've watched 15 or 20 videos on this guitar (including Paul reed Smith play one) because I'm buying the charcoal p22 with a trem here in a week or 2. Anything this was by far the best demonstration of the tones this guitar puts out.
I'm lucky enough to own a P22, and I can honestly say it is about the best sounding, most versatile ,and beautifully crafted guitars I have ever seen and heard. Highly recommended. But I wish I could play like this guy
I really hope you guys make some more of these. They sound incredible. The Custom 24 Piezo is great but I am just more of a P22 player. Brian your playing here is just so pleasant thank you so much.
Beautiful, creative and stimulating music!!! Alot has been said re PRS , new v.s. old etc.I personally play an Electric Blue mint condition CE 24 that I would NEVER trade for any other guitar. Quite simply,it does the job of roughly 5 different guitars, the neck is perfect (for me) and I could never find another one.But in this video he is using a NEW PRS guitar and it sounds FANTASTIC ! The moral here is that it's NOT the guitar it's the guitar player.A '59 LP is not going to make you J Page.
@mrkyt77 Piezos are very hard to install on guitars that weren't built with them. However, Graphtec have in the last couple of years come out with the Ghost piezo system, which is installed by replacing the saddles on the bridge and wiring in an acoustic preamp. They even make ones specifically for PRS bridges. Doesn't quite sound as good as this, but still good. The whole system is around $200 There's a video of it in action on a PRS on RUclips. Just search for "PRS Ghost" Hope that helped.
Really quite preasently surprised how good the p22 sounds. What colour is that? it looks darker than most PRS's with that kind of shade. I like the more brownish look.
Man you should record it..It's awesome.. But there's one I didn't understand: what is exactly the Piezo system? Is it a kind of jack output for an acoustic sound?
You know what? I hate this damn guitar... for me not being able to afford it >.< If you don't want to have different tunings I think this guitar is the only one you'll ever need. P22, I hate you but I love you and you're just amazing!
By the same token, sitting in your garage is not going to turn you into a Porsche.I have played some new PRS's and, just like ALL guitars, some had mojo and some did not.Dollar for dollar you CANNOT surpass the buying power of an old PRS CE 24.You can get 1 for $2,000 or less,it comes equipped with 2 humbuckers both of which can be tapped to make them single coil.Les Paul AND Strat tones out of 1 guitar.Countless others had tried but Paul Reed Smith got it right.Get yourself a CE , U won't be sorry

Absolutely unreal. Incredible acoustic and electric tones, and a lovely piece of music.

Great playing and a real showcase of how much you can get out of these P22's so effortlessly. These videos just may convince me to get one of these!
honestly, one of the coolest guitar videos I've ever seen.
Absolutely amazing. Best guitar video I have seen on You Tube.

One day I wll realize how good loopers actually are. Some very tasteful playing and PRS's sounding as beatiful as ever.

That's the beauty. It's a solidbody.
I am speechless... I am without speech
Use your pedals/multi effect and connect them with the PC for Guitar Rig 4. It has loop machine. Not the best quality but yet it'll do the trick...
awsome, perfect demo!!
Nice and tasteful/ very musical indeed!
Totally friggin' awesome...

gorgeous guitar....
What finish is that? Absolutely gorgeous.
Amazing. Somehow I feel like PRS is made for such melancholic but powerful melodies (think of Opeth).
Thanks man

I'd be all over that guitar with the wrap around bridge if it was still in production! But it's 2024 now, ugh.
Lovely

You know what? I hate this damn guitar... for me not being able to afford it >.<
