Since I've had more fun with 38bhp than in any other car - I'd alter that silly statement to '385 horsepower doesn't make a car special''. Whichever way you look at it though, that is a lot of horsepower.
Today a million pounds isn't a lot of money....It is all relative.
When you consider today a Mercedes A class can roll out the factory with 400+hp, by today's standards the MG SV offering does seem pretty poultry for a car of that supposed caliber.
Can't understand....getting headache... losing concentration...
This was back in the days of the Fast & Furious films and everybody thought nitrous was this magical thing they could put on their 1.8 Mondeo and make *A THOUSAND HORSEPOWER* !
Which, I mean, in theory they could, for a split second before it exploded.
Wow! I’ve never had a seizure before! That was intense.
Who decided on that horrible epilepsy inducing effect at the beginning
Wow that car would look great in my garage which I would then set on fire.
Much love, your friends at Rev Media!!
love the channel.💖
Imagine if MG Rover was still making cars today; wouldn't they be fantastic...
If that was the case, they wouldn't have gone bankrupt.
The editing of this video is why the american colonies broke off from the UK
fiat punto mk2 headlights
BOM has one, can't wait for the build to start.
Definitely the best looking MG to date. I. So. Love. To own one!
Looks like an audi tt with a modded 2 door dodge stratus front bumper fiber glassed on with a little extra wheel flare.
Are those the headlights from the early 2000s fiat punto? Nice details
Yeah nothing but the best
I always thought this thing was a concept car I had no idea they actually existed
How is that on an 09 plate ?
What is it supposed to have ?
Lutho Dweba not 09, Mg Rover went bankrupt in 05 , they made a handful of these
it got registered late was actually made in 04 i think?
Arantxa Mae yes around 04 they came out, seen one on an 05, latest rover I’ve seen is a 58 and that was a 75, and that was super late.
Arantxa Mae tax check shows manufactured in 09... it must have been under SAIC to pay some bills.
As an American - can confirm there are TONS of 1000hp mustangs with the modular 4.6L V8.
Not with stock internals, but there absolutely are 4 figure power levels from the 4.6 and 5.0L versions of this engine.
New cams, valves, pistons, rods, and upgraded cooling and oiling system can get you well over 1000hp with a stock engine block. And nitrous.
There's guys with over 700hp without nitrous.
The Kvale as you called the car company, it was set up by an American dealer who also had tried to save Jensen Motors, the last car he helped Jensen was the Jensen Healey GT, beating BMW M3 breadvan in its design but they do look similar.
I'd die a happy man seeing (and hearing) one of these in the wild
Really interesting Mike Fernie, I'd forgotten about these. How much are they these days on the used market?
Lying about what your sports car can do is a proud motor manufacturing tradition!
The only other time I have seen this car is in my Top Gear 100 Fastest Cars book.
Who got recommended with this after FH5?
I remember seeing a red one of these years ago while on holiday in Aviemore up in Scotland. Was parked in the hotel carpark I think next to a MGb V8
Is nitrous as readily available in the UK as it is in the US?
