I have worked in LE at local, state and Federal agencies, the fact the Feds did not communicate properly, endangered this trooper and had a "flawed" plan does not shock me at all.

Darian Jarrott's boss sent him to the sacrifice, he is the only one to blame. He knew the danger, but he didn't care and didn't say anything to Darian, not to mention that he was just a few days away from his retirement
I feel sorry for him but why didn't he pull his gun and hold him there after spotting the weapon he had?

He walked into that traffic stop like a rookie, he made big mistakes himself and could’ve survived by not being so naive. If he had not asked the guy to get out of the truck, he’d be alive and kicking right now.
