He is a hero.. I don't even know the words to describe this man, but he is amazing! It's an honor to be able to see him sit before a camera and do an interview. The other officers as well did an amazing job; if it wasn't for them having his back, Omar Cueva could've stood over him and took him out just like he did Officer Jarrott... Omar Cueva was a tough guy, but he wasn't tougher than the police squad of New Mexico!
He was just doing his job. It wasn't a voluntary job.
I have 4 law enforcement in my family... A retired uncle whom is now deceased, 2 cousins whom were detectives and are retired as well, and my brother in laws brother, whom is a brother to me, whom worked as a federal officer for a dozen years... I watched the unedited video of officer Jarrott's traffic stop as well as officer De La Garza's stoppage of evil, and it just leaves me uneasy with endless questions going through my mind that there are people in this world just like that evil around the nation, and more so around the world, and here we are making it more difficult for my law enforcement because we open the door to the world as if we don't have enough problems already inviting a fully loaded plate of seconds into the country. The most disturbing are the individuals in this nation with no understanding, and shouts of 'defund' or protecting hardened criminals whom have had more than their fair shot at redemption in a free society. These individuals seem to be predicated on canonizing everything wrong in society. They are education ablaze, but desolate and starved in the heart of understanding and wisdom, not realizing where they are and just how freedom got here for them to revel in it, except that it provides for them 'fishes and loaves'. Clueless and oblivious that it takes courage and discipline to bring about a free society(something they seem no to engage in, yet to destroy it). They really have no clue as to whom the good guys are as there was no nurturing on what righteousness is life. My heart and appreciation and blessings to the officers of Las Cruces as well as Officer De La Garza and my sincerest of all prayers goes out to the Jarrott family, as they have endured much heart ache of this wonderful individual given to us who's life was cut short due to a senseless and ruthless act. May the blessing of God and yet the finer blessings of mercy be upon us all, especially our law enforcement throughout this nation! Thank you for what you do.
So many things to mention/commend and you hit it 1st with the restraint it HAD TO take not to keep popping more into that coward. This officer got right back up, pursued, neutralized the problem and was still ready to go again....WOW! If im ever traveling through a city and hes on the clock ill know the best is out there watching. Outstanding job!! Thank you sir!!!

Much respect to this man. I just watched the video and after he went down the killer was coming around the car running right at him. These cops don't get nearly enough respect these days.
he's just so fast....he remembers his thinking process and on video that is a second even i thought he'd fire off at least 3 or more

Most amazing hero that went into battle knowing how dangerous the suspect is. He went into battle and it was on video! Most dangerous situation caught on video and bravery!
