You could not have been in a better city for a layover. - Fun and Food! You made the best of a crazy layover. Good for u. Glad you liked the poop 😆. See ya Ms A!🧡🧡🧡
You're 100% correct. Long haul flights is stressful and I too have bad anxiety while flying so much that one time I had a panic attack when my seat was switched to middle and not asile. You would've thought someone passed away the way I was crying and hyperventilating. 🤣🤦🏾♀️ They did switch my seat and that's when I realized middle and window seats made my anxiety worse b/c it made me feel even more closed in. Being on a plane make me feel claustrophobic. So, I can only do asile seats or I cannot fly, I'll walk. 😂
thanks !
Your Mum must be SO excited to see you after four years. I say this as a mum of a 23 year-old son and I can't imagine not seeing him for so long!
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Welcome home Aleese, and enjoy your time with your family.
The year that COVID hit, I wanted to stay in Japan for a month rather than the couple of days I was there on a cruise. Then maybe staying a month in Shanghai on another trip since I fell in love with the city on mu short stay there as well. You have inspired me to make my plans again! Good to see that you finally made it home.
We definitely want to see videos of your time in the US. Yes please.
Stay tuned! They will be coming soon
Aleese!! Please vlog during your time in the US! I'm so curious to hear about your experiences and reverse culture shock moments in the US after being away for so long!!
This Sunday I''ll be posting it!
It is very uncomfortable on flight especially if you sitting in the middle seat.
Looking forward to what’s your life like in America
I'll give you a hint- EXPENSIVE!
I love Tokyo! The only place I've visited and never had a bad encounter or feeling from the locals. The food is delicious. I live for the creativity w/ the restaurant themes. It's so different in a great way. It's a city I recommend that everyone visit.
Totally agree! Wonderful international city with incredible food! I felt lucky to go there even if it was just for a few hours lol
Chicago O'Hare has the worst customs in the world!
TERRIBLE!! I don't understand why they don't just revamp the whole thing?!
I was patiently waiting for the end to see the excitement from family members. You just ended the video the marvel way 🤣
Hahahah I arrived back in my hometown around 1am, I was too tired to film anything
Wow, I like Tokyo a lot!!!! You are so brave flying to all those different places. I am glad that you finally landed in Detroit.
Hahaha I didn't have a choice flying to all those places!!
Yes show us Michigan
I will!!
@@AleeseLightyear Your skin is amazing, please tell me your secret
I just can feel your excitement from the screen 🎉
I am so glad to know what airports to use and avoid as I become an international traveler for the first time in my life!! Thank you Aleese for all your amazing footage.
So cute to see your Tokyo vlog the day after I land home from my trip to Tokyo! Already giving me vacation nostalgia feels. It's way too easy to fill hours in that city and I can't wait to go back. Hope you have a restful time back here in the US!
Woman, I wish you had a 44-hour layover, as it would provide more opportunities to capture footage of your journey through Tokyo.
Hahahah I'm glad I didn't have a 44 hour layover, I would have been losing my mind
There used to be this amazing cafe in Chongqing that had those fluffy pancakes! It closed for good during the pandemic 🙁
RIP to all the cute little cafes that closed during the pandemic
WHAT is going on with the algorithm where your vids haven't been on my TL for months?!?! 😢😢😢
Now I have to catch up on 3 months of Lightyear shenanigans!
Oh, and when exactly were you in Tokyo? We might've been there at the same time.
OMG---the algorithm wasn't algorithm-ing like it needed to be! But I'm happy to have you back 👍 This was wayyy back in the end of July
@AleeseLightyear back and all caught up 😁😁😁
Oh, and I was there in September. More than 22hrs tho. Lol
Welcome come to the States. Do some videos in America.😅😅😅😅😅😅
They are coming soon my friend!
Sad you only had a short time in Tokyo, it's amazing here and wish you got to see more
Totally fine by me, I was just on a mission to get home hahah
I once spent 24 hours in Tokyo and it was by far, one of the greatest days of my life. What an incredible city! Great video as always! I hope we get to see some vlogs from home!
Couldn't agree more!
Yayyy❤ did you come back to cheongdu (idk if i'm spelling it correctly 😂) now since the summer is over? Did you have this hard flights experiences again? 😂
Yes and YES! Basically the same flight on the way back ,just a much shorter layover in Japan that time
Omg Alesse im so happy that you visit Tokyo Japan it's my personal dream to visit Japan in my life time 日本が大好きです🥺🇭🇹🇺🇲💗🇯🇵🤍❤️
Thanks love!Hope you can make it one day to Japan!
Would you recommend the hotel? How was your experience? The size is fine to me w/ what you've shown.
Like I said in the video, I was only there to sleep and for that it was fine. I think the location was great as it's next to the subway and in a central spot. I didn't spend really much time there lol
