The first fight was honestly incredibly unfair and I do not salute Zeural, who is clearly a competitive player, bullying a player with aesthetic ships like that, with not one, but *TWO* meta ships.
The second fight though... *6:57* Imagine grabbing an overpowered Rail-Kiter and laughing at others for having bad ions, only to be absolutely owned by the non-meta players...
And do I need to say anything about the third fight? It included Slowking, the 2-Way winner of official Competitive bracket tournament!.. *10:35* Surprisingly he fell really quickly. Proof that insane competitive skill isn't always the answer.
The fourth fight was amazing too. Tippy's laser ship that looked pathetic at first turned out to be unimaginably strong, wow. Three meta ships lost against essentially one meta ship and one diagonal aesthetic-ish ship.

@@pietroroberto6114 Bullying, I meant ship-wise, as it was a very unfair matchup. Absolutely didn't mean one player harassed another.

honestly, space in Cosmoteer might as well be a fluid, with max speed and passive deceleration, also i would say this game has missiles rather than torpedos since torpedos displace a fluid they are in to move, while missiles expel their mass in form of fuel to move
edit, if you see an unbroken or nearly unbroken line in armor, that usually means it is meant to be shed, this is done to increase mobility if you deem the enemy to be too fast
Man, Zerual really throwing a lot of unnecessary shade around while using disgusting meta-ships. Good way to make yourself the heel of these matches

I've been really enjoying these battle videos; one was recommended to me two days ago and I've binged through about half of them; it's really something I've been looking for, thank you for the great work
how about you try some of the mods for these tournaments? Nothing that is super unbalanced or chaotic and hard to understand/ruins the game, but something unique to spice things up a bit. The only drawback I see from this is that people would have to make new ships for such mods if they never used them before.
I would vote for one round with MODs an 'unlimited' money 😀

This is a great update for Cosmoteer, I haven't played the game in well over a year but might look at get back into.

Space isnt a fluid, however it would still use nautical terminology because it is classified as international waters. However definitions of weapons and which is which would depend on the design. The line between missile and torpedo are blurred when it comes to space. So we can classify them based on typical attributes. Missiles dont typically have a timed fuse (unless it has some other sensor), torpedoes often only care about planar positioning often ignoring altitude. Because the game is 2d all missiles should be torpedoes? Im not to well versed on missiles, maybe im wrong. But space is the "sea"
