I was moved to Lander when I was 3 years old. Believe it or not i was raised in them mountains. My family would park our camper at Worthern Meadows sometimes with other families and we would pretty much live up there for a couple weeks. Sometimes the parents would go down to Lander to their job during the day and come back in the evening. Watching your video brings back memories. I am 57 yrs old. Live in Laramie now. I dont get back to Lander much anymore. But always miss them mountains.

Oh, there are so many places to go to and so many things to enjoy if only I could travel to Lander. Unfortunately, I don't see any hope for the time being. I have only ever passed through Lander on the way to Yellowstone. It looks like I missed a lot. South City looks interesting to visit as does Hamilton City. I also enjoy places like the Pioneers Village and museum. Thanks for showing us more of this area.

Wow i bet those caverns are amazing to see. I saw the happy fishes down there. I imagine you can't fish them out of there. Interesting historical city at South Pass. Cool to see the various wildlife there. The outdoor museum is fascinating, i always enjoy seeing how people lived in way back in the past.

What a pretty area. That spot where the river sinks into the canyon is very cool! Wow that's a lot of fish. Big too. That water looks so clear! Neat little towns and cool history too! Oh very cool to see Sacagawea's grave site. The teepees are cool too. Is it bad I want to play in the playground? 😂 Loving that little Coleman grill! Great video, guys!!
No, cause I wanted to play in the little playground too. We are really enjoying the ease of that little fold and go Coleman for quick overnight stays instead of getting out the Blackstone.

Myoming has lot to offer. From the natural landscape, historical places, animal sightings, museum and community park. Nice capture of the river as it flows to the cavern . Theres lot of fish, too bad fishing is not allowed. Great information about the Sounth Pass city. I will pass the cemetery though. Definitely great places to visit when in Myoming. My favourite is #10 that’s a yummy dinner.
Thanks for the great tour and commentary. I have Landers and Pinedale on my list to hike the Wind River Range. Maybe next summer. Just finished a trip the San Rafael Swell and Canyonlands. Maybe Arches if the weather holds. Lots of footage to edit! Thanks for sharing and the cool music. 😀👍

Hi both. That tour was great but I especially loved the look of Fossil Hill, that looked a great place to walk up and that kids park near the end that was built like an old western town was so good . Thanks for showing us :)
We love Lander, Wyoming. It's one of our favorite Wyoming cities to visit. Yes, Fossil Hill would be fun to explore, and if you have littles, the town park is so cute.

That school was actually on the larger size of most one room school houses in the old west era. That whole village is really cool, and so is the one in town.

I loved Lander, WY, My wife and I have been to every place in this video. I loved the Stough House - 1917 ( at about your 9:17 time stamp ). I would love to build a little 2 story house exactly like it. We've been to Lander a couple times, and I'd go back. Nice little town. But boy oh boy, you sure got some hills to climb driving out of Lander heading south. LOL Atlantic City, and South Pass City were really cool too. JT
I plead guilty - I have never heard about Lander before I saw this movie. But now I know a lot more about the place and it does look inviting for a visit. The landscape is pretty and with interesting things to see and experience - the school house is something special for sure. I will have to talk my American friends into joining me for a trip to the area when the world is normal again:) Stay safe and get ready for Christmas:)

We do too. No, you can't fish there. Those trout are protected. Probably why they are so big.
