Mythical pokemon are basically a subclass of legendaries at this point, though. They are effectively legendaries you can only obtain via events. In other words, it's more of an in-game term, if anything. I don't recall them using mythical pokemon as a term in the anime itself. In fact, Arceus, who is otherwise a mythical pokemon, is referred to as a legendary pokemon in the Jewel of Life movie.
Zeraora doesn't generate its own electricity, unlike most other Electric-Type Pokémon, it doesn't have any organs that can generate electricity. In lieu of this inability, Zeraora manipulates and gathers electricity from external sources in order to bankroll it's Electric-Type moves.
@@dekudeku5520 Zeraora is a MYTHICAL Pokemon. And, no, it can't naturally generate its own electricity. It gathers electricity from external sources and stores it in its fur.
These dudes actions make no sense. Their only goal: catch Zeraora. They are in a huge rush to go and catch this Pokémon because there is a ton of competition. Furthermore, they wanted to stay under the radar of other trainers. When they stumble upon a little girl and two common Pokémon, they should realistically think “ok, let’s move on and not draw attention to ourselves, we need to find that legendary”. Instead, they completely forget about their goal and try to imolate the child. This is lazy writing, whoever approved this should be fired. I could write a better scene then this. Here how it could’ve gone: The baddies leave the little girl and the two common Pokémon alone, they don’t matter. Then they send houndoom out and instruct the Pokémon to find the scent of the rare Pokémon. The rare Pokémon is INJURED so they should smell like BLOOD so houndoom can track down Zeraora EASILY.
What would've been even better was if the villains did exactly what they did originally, but were smarter about it. They would've been able to know that they could NEVER even find Zeraora, and (sorry if this is dramatic irony, but with some knowledge, legendaries tend to protect the weaker pokemon/humans) PURPOSEFULLY attack the three, not for the purpose of catching the pokemon, but luring out Zeraora in the first place, knowing fully well it would deflect their attack (or take it, hopefully)
To be fair Ditto is probably worth something due to its utility in Pokemon breeding, underground or otherwise. Teddiursa is less worth stopping to catch, but it turns into Ursaring and if you're catching Ditto anyway you might as well get the other one too.
Because of this movie Zeraora instantly became my favorite Pokémon

It’s not my all time favorite pokemon but he’s my most used in unite too

You’re tying to change Pokémon logic
You are not the target audience for this....
Tbh you’re looking into this WAY too much lol it’s a Pokemon movie it’s not that deep

I hate the pronunciation of Zeraora here
I always read it with 3 syllables instead of 4
